If you know us Rifftrax folks, you know that we know Bad.  We’re talking Real Bad.  Not Good-Bad, not Ironic Midnight Movie With Edibles Bad, but just Bad. Just Plain Bad. Bad Bad.

Now forget everything you know and we know about Bad. Throw it out the window, or in this case, down the toilet. Because we have seen Things.  Believe me, we’ve seen some things before, but never have those things approached anything like this Things.  Every time we think we’ve found the absolute worst… effort to make it to film, or video, or Super-8, just when we are certain that no human being could ever produce something as excrementally horrible as what we’ve just seen., along comes Things.

Join us as we declare, and set out to prove, that Things is beyond a doubt the  absolute worst title we have ever riffed.  We know you’ll love it, after the scars heal.

Were the people behind the camera even conscious during the filming? Is the sequel a horror story about the editor trying to slice this into a movie?

I still maintain that "After Last Season"—which I accept you won't riff, and which was covered by an iRiff during the iRiff era—is worse than "Things." I'm not into even poorly done body horror, so "Thing" is worse to me in that regard. But in all other ways I can think of, "After Last Season" is at least as bad., and in addition it is dull in a way "Things" is not. "Things" is relatively action packed. I do find "After Last Season" to be conceptually fascinating in the ways that is is bad, but the actual watching of it without a riff is so dull.

August 2015: “Rollergator is the worst movie we’ve ever riffed.” August 2021: “Baby Ghost is the worst movie we’ve ever riffed.” March 2022: “Things is the worst movie we’ve ever riffed.” Somewhere out there, another movie is awaiting this pronouncement, and that terrifies me.

Another Rollergator, for me. So bad I fell asleep about halfway thru, and decided not to finish watching it. Not aso much a movie, as a series of exposed lengths of film, randomly strung together with the worst Canadian garage band supplying the "sopundtrack." As was mentioned in "retrievers," HERES YOUR SWILL PIG!"

This may sound weird but I kind of enjoyed it at least more than rollergator, which isn’t saying much. It was like a drug trip of a bad movie. I was just baffled by how bad certain audio and video parts were even captured. They seemed like they filmed it while toxic level drunk or something!
