Greetings, Traxians!

The boys are back to revisit Robot Monster, a movie that made it to the list of "worst movie endings of all time!" In this episode of Talkin' RiffTrax, they talk about the movie's pronunciations of the word "robot," its use of lizard footage as dinosaur stand-ins, and the minute differences between the costumes of Ro-man and Great Guidance.

Enjoy, won't you?

It really is "a movie of puzzling choices," extremely well-put

Ro-man looks like like if you knocked him on his back he wouldn't be able to get up again. A light shove would probably incapacitate him.

You guys had me on the 10th when you were talking about the movie. Bought, watched, and watched again. Then noticed the space platform is (at one point) not on a string but being held up on a small rod by a hand that you can clearly see through the smoke. Classic! It has everything you could want in a 50s sci-fi film. - Hope everyone on the Riftrax team has a great Thanksgiving! Muah!

I have to admit that every time the bubble machine was on, in my head I could hear Stan Freberg doing Lawrence Welk: "Will somebody please turn off the bubble machine! The bubbles don't come on until the end of the program."

This and Bride of the Monster were a Turkey Day marathon double feature on Joe Bob’s Drive In back in 1990 on TMC.
