Hello, Traxians! Our Kickstarter campaign for this year's live show is in full swing. Not only that, but we set a new record when it comes to how quickly we got 100% funded. We're still kind of in shock, to be honest, but we're not all that much surprised - the RiffTrax community of fans is an incredible bunch, and we're chuffed to have such amazing support. So, if you're a backer, thank you! And if not, don't worry - you still have another 36 days to become one.

In the meantime, we need the help of our Traxians once again! We have a handful of great options provided to us by the pin designer, Nikol King, for the design of the exclusive pin reward (which will also be available to purchase separately through BackerKit after the campaign ends) - but we can't decide which one we like the most. That's where you come in!

Choose the one design you like best, and let us know what you like about it in the comments. We'll use this information as a guide for the final design.

We might even have a follow-up poll for "finalists" of this one, if need be, to narrow this down further to one design that backers of the $110 EXCLUSIVE PIN tier will receive - so let us know what you think!

They are all really good! I chose #2 but, I would love it if the "Rifftrax" was stylized how it is in #3. I like having both Rifftrax and the name of the film on the pin but, I'd prefer "Rifftrax" to be listed on top and "Rad" below it.

Corey Seaver

No. 1 because it feels like an 'if you know, you know'

Chris Wuchte

One, because the colors have more variety, and I think fitting both RiffTrax and Rad logos on the pin is too busy. However, three with the purple RiffTrax logo would be better.

Jordan Jepson

I chose #5 as it doesn't have any parts that stick out too much; imagine how much fun that would be to get stuck on a sweater (looking at you #4). The text/biker color scheme match well, putting them on the same visual level, then you smack a basic triangle of a contrasting color (it's no "good circle", I know), behind it and that's got a stable foundation to it. You pair with it all the basic BMX jump pose you might find on an 80's Bugle Boy t-shirt and you've got yourself a pin that exists!

Jeffery McClure

A two hour Rifftrax visit to the 80s sounds great, but i dont want to take the colors or the word RAD back home with me. Design 3 is a great choice.

Lazarus Xavier

Design 5 picked BUT I wonder if it would look better with the gradient triangle and solid purple RAD letters. I really like the retro vibe in the gradient triangle but 5 is the better arrangement to me.

Jack Beckman

I like 1 because it's less busy and the driver looks the least in control of his bike.

Cheryl Rosen

Tough choosing between 2 and 5. Want it contained. Want both words. Chose #5 in the end.

Brian Fried

#1 is the only one for me – it says "Rifftrax" most, not "Rad." Rifftrax is the star. :-)

JIM B

#1 not for aesthetics, but because the rider in this pose looks most likely to do a face-plant.

Ben Wink

Is it possible that the pin could say RadTrax? Like an amalgamation of the two words in the Rad font?

Tammy Bradburn

I like design #1 for the colors and the goofy pose

david l shields jr

they are all cool its was hard to choose. I liked nr. 1 because it looked most like the 80s.

Cj Kyle

Hard choice. I picked 1 but I do like having "RAD" on there, too. Not upset about any of them though. They are all quite tubular to the max.

Kosame

Tough choices! Had to go with 5 just because it has the best "balance" to it, slightly breaking all 3 triangle edges... but I'd be even happier if the big multicolored word on top were "Rifftrax" and the little yellow word in the middle were "Rad".

Kathryn Rice

I like the simplicity of design 3. "Rifftrax" in the RAD font makes the joke. "RAD Rifftrax" or "Rifftrax RAD" seems superfluous.

Y 2 Krankor

The only one I actively dislike is #4. It just seems... fragile. Like if it took physical form, it would snap in transit.

Jason

Loving #2

Vivian

I like #4 because you can see the rider clearly, and the 2 words are separated enough to be distinct.

Sarah Casa

I voted for 5 and my only tweak would be adjusting the color on the left side of the line under Rad as it blends in with the biker.

Robert Reimer

I picked design #2 because it was the only choice that had both RiffTrax and Rad in bigger font size. I thought RiffTrax should get more equal billing with the film name.

Kurt Storm

My vote is for #2, but can the RIFFTRAX be done in the outlined yellow (like on 4 & 5), instead of just plain black & have it extend partially beyond the upper border of the triangle? It doesn't stand out as well on the purple, as is.

Jason McDonald

I picked #4 because I like how it breaks the mold a little bit. Having the bike up top provides some visual variety that's nice compared to the others that are essentially strong triangles.

Kristina G. Fisher

#1, second choice #3. I like having "Rifftrax" big, rather than "Rad." Also like the color gradient in the triangle.

Richard

#4 because it is the most visually appealing and pronounced due to the protuberance of the biker above the triangle.

Sandro Says

Damn, my choice is coming in dead last lol

Justin Allen

Number 4 looks like it will catch on something and break off. Number 2 is the only one that has RAD and RIFFTRAX on it.

Neal Wood

I prefer the lettering in only one color (1 and 3). The rider is most dynamic in 1. Adding the title “Rad” makes the designs too busy, IMHO.

Craiggers

I’m all about color scheme so I went with #3. But in a perfect world, I’d take the #3 background with the #5 foreground.

Stephanie K Deal

I'd be happy with any of them but I most like the color scheme of #1, but the design of #5.

DalGoda

I voted for #1 since the RiffTrax logo was large. It doesn't have to have the movie name. Not worried about confusing anyone, the mundanes wouldn't know what it was if it came with a paragraph of text. :)

Spiky Mikie

Mike's new nickname is Lt. Party everyone!

Sukotto

Design #5 with #1's color scheme!

Phillip Helfenbein

Combine the bike & rider from 1 with the text and coloring from 2.

Clifford Tunnell

I actually prefer the color banding on 3, but like the movie title + RiffTrax logo combo of 5.

Dachannien

I went with #4 because the off-kilter triangle was pretty rad. But my suggestion would be, if you have both "RAD" and "Rifftrax" in the logo, try to separate them, like putting Rifftrax across the top and RAD in bigger letters off-center at the bottom. Then again, I'm not a professional graphic designer, so what do I know :D

Misty

I picked 4 for the guy biking up the triangle. I am a simple person.

Cory G

I can picture myself wearing #3, love the look and the colors

NinjitsuPrincess

They're all pretty great. Personally I don't like pins that have weird parts sticking out of them bc they always catch on stuff so I immediately nixed #4. And I kinda want to have both the title of the movie and RiffTrax on my pin so that left #2 and #5. I picked #5. But I was really torn bc I like the bike guy and the colors of #1, esp the stripey triangle. That probably doesn't help you guys one bit does it?

William Hussar

I went with number 2. I did not like 1 and 3 because they do not have the name of the movie and number 4 is out because, as others have mentioned, it looks rather frail. In the end, I went with 2 because “RiffTrax” was bigger.

Wendy Burke

I like 5 best. 2 seems a little dark. It looks better when the word Rad is sticking off the top. I like 1 except that it doesn’t say Rad, and one might wonder what the bike and rider have to do with RiffTrax.

Justin Wingate

Is there a deadline to this? Just out of curiosity.

James Geier

I went with No. 1 because I like "RIFFTRAX" being so large -- though I wouldn't mind the "RAD" movie name also being included (but smaller) -- and because I like the way the guy's wrestling the monstrous, sentient bike for his life. ...Or am I missing something?

Zach De La Cruz

I'm a designer and love all of these, but No. 1 is the strongest and most engaging. The gradient color background makes the Rifftrax lettering pop and the bmx rider strikes a more interesting pose, creating a well-balanced layout

Brian Sebby

I went with #4 because it seemed the most dynamic, and included both "RAD" and "RIFFTRAX". I'm looking forward to this, because I don't think I ever actually got to watch RAD as a kid - there was a trailer for it on my VHS copy of The Dirt Bike Kid, which I watched a TON of times, but I never got the other big BMX-related 80s kids movie!

Jennifer Bowyer

I went with #4 because it's not an equilateral triangle, and so more dynamic. #s 1 and 2 were close second choices. Whatever design we go with, it really needs the pink to set it in the 80's; otherwise it just looks like a pin for a more modern desert biking event.

Thomas Noel

I like #5, It's a well balanced design that includes RAD, RiffTrax and the bike. I like the color scheme too.

Jessica Tomechak

Am I the only one seeing the ... pink triangles ... and ... having very bad associations with them? I wouldn't be able to vote for any pink triangle design because of the very dark historical events with which they're associated. So even though I like #5 in every other way - I like having the movie name and Rifftrax both on there - so anyway. I voted #1.
