Hello there, Traxians!

As you might know based on trends from previous years, we're gearing up for this year's Kickstarter. In the past few Kickstarter projects, we've given a bonus Patron-exclusive reward at certain tiers, and we thought we'd ask for your input ahead of the 2024 campaign.

We've done five challenge coins in the past, featuring the visages of Mike, Kevin, Bill, Disembaudio, and Bridget & Mary Jo. Should we keep the tradition going with some imagery from this year's RiffTrax Live film? Or, should we switch things up?

One idea we had for this year was a Traxian-exclusive holiday ornament that you could hang from a tree,  wreath, or place in another favorite, festive location.

If there's something else you would love to see instead, please vote "Other" in the poll below and comment with your suggestion.

These rewards are for you, so we want to make sure they're the best they can be! We're really looking forward to this year's Kickstarter and to hearing from you, our dearest Traxians.

Cheers,

- The RiffTrax Team

I could go for an ornament but I could also go for a keychain. Because I don't often put up a tree for the holidays. However if the ornament were flat-ish like the 1994 'Tis the Season To Be MSTie! ornament from Randy Herget that is in my possession, then I could hang it up on the wall with that one.

Dave Gold

A "stress ball" thing like you did with the ice cream bunny years ago. Either re-release the ice cream bunny or how about a 3-D cushy representation of the RiffTrax?

Mark Cappelletty

I always thought the coin was a bit silly. I keep mine in an old DVD case with an MST3K rarities disc... and look at them about once a year when I get a new coin. The ornament would be MUCH cooler and more practical.

Wendy Burke

I seem to recall suggesting you do an ornament a few years back because rewards often come out then. So yeah, I’m team ORNAMENT! 🙂

Chris Wuchte

I think you should have given Bridget and Mary Jo each their own coin, like you did with the guys, but since you didn't, why not continue the theme and give Matthew and Ian a shared coin?

Daniel Frank

I'm pro-coin but anti-this-year's-movie-on-the-coin. And no, I don't have a good idea what should be on the coin instead. (Not complaining; just saying...)

Chris Sedelmaier

Maybe a Shake Hands With Danger coin, with sharp edges?

Jeff Siegal

Rifftrax rolling paper (& I don't even smoke anymore).

Sean-Casey King

I like the ornament and voted for it, but would also take a Connor & Sean coin at some point. They've earned it.

Chris Bellevie

I really like the sharp edged Shake Hands With Danger coin idea. I am sure the Rifftrax legal department would also love this idea. I would become a Traxian just for that!

Christopher Simar

I voted for the ornament but I would love to see separate Mary Jo and Bridget coins someday (in the Martha Washtington / Dolly Madison style to match the "Big 3" coins you already did) . I love the coins but I don't really like the idea of a movie-specific one, to echo some comments above.

Mike Dibble

I'd love to see a challenge coin Christmas ornament. Maybe with the Ice Cream Bunny.

Joe Lawler

Brittrax Coin modeled after a pound.

Chris Shuttlesworth

I’d LOVE a necklace or a charm I could put on a chain to make a necklace.

Suzie B

I don't really do ornaments but having something that's hangable seems good? Like maybe I'll make a garland and hang it on there or something.

amolove

something hangable is nice but i think "ornament" feels too chrismassy and not eveyrone celebrates that!

Jeremy Rowland

Still some writers and producers like Conor and Erik who deserve a coin

Ryan Coate

Maybe you could put Connor and Sean on this year’s coin. Just a thought.

thee Dark Overlord (aka doug)

Voted for the ornament for something different. Could be persuaded to switch to the coin if it was, oh I dunno... a Rollergator coin!

Matt Olfson

I've been really digging the challenge coins, and would much prefer to keep that going. Ornaments are too seasonal, and too bulky. Other durable swag items would be too cumbersome. But a challenge coin; those travel well and age even better over time. Keep 'em coming!

Larry Moody

I would like to see small figures like the small pewter crow and server that have been done in the past. Perhaps figures of classic Rifftrax icons like Rollergator or Hobgoblin or Normal.

Brett Neumeier

My dream is to have so many kickstarter coins I can use them as poker chips!

DB

The answer is obviously “a nose flute”. 😉 But a patch or a metal keychain would be nifty.

JIM B

Honestly, whatever...just keep us all laughing.

Shagz

A Nolte Challenge Coin!

Y 2 Krankor

I'm still not sure what the challenge is that I should be using these coins for. Are they all Todd?

Benjamin Harrington

What about a coin with Coily on one side and paper bag on the other. It's like a more twisted coin for Two Face type villians. Which side is good and which side is bad? That's up to you.

Angie Stout

The ornament sounds really fun!

Christian L Light

I just chose the challenge coin because I couldn't think of anything better at the moment. I think the idea of an ornament is cool too though.

Danielle Register

Can the ornament have a professional joke on it please!

Brian Fried

A pin to show other Traxxians how devoted we are to these releases/campaigns.

Aaron Sanders

How about a Matryoshka doll painted to look like a character from that year's Kickstarter movie? Each year the new doll will be big enough for dolls from previous years to fit inside. Eventually they'll be 5ft tall and cost $180 to ship. At that point a stretch goal can unlock the chance for one person's doll to arrive with Nick Nolte inside.

Charlie Guenette

Honestly, whatever it ends up being, I'd probably forget about it until I'd get a notification about it being shipped.

Thomas Marwede

I'd like to see the challenge coin with the iconic RiffTrax characters, Ice-Cream Bunny and the like

Rob Seibolt

I can always use another Xmas Ornament. Would love to have a Rifftrax ornament to add to the tree!

Rudiger

Pint/rocks glass

Gary-O

Shot glasses

Brian Finnegan

Having gotten into the Kickstarter thing late, I wouldn't mind new coins with Mike and Kevin (which I missed out on). But I also love Thomas Marwede's suggestion of classic characters.
