it's about 6 weeks later than intended and I apologize for that so incredibly much!

But here is a story about Hannah Dalton, her adorable daughter, gaining independence, the fear of falling in love, Caroline Parker's perfect face (and everything else), and how daunting and exciting the idea of a forever can really be.

You just made what looks like a crappy day for me a million times better. Can’t wait until my work day is done to read this uninterrupted! Now that I've read it - I just want to say I LOVED IT and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions, even made me tear up at least a couple of times. I'd like to be more specific but I don't want to spoil the others who haven't read it yet. I can't thank you enough for writing this novella. After reading WYLEI last year, I've always hoped for an epilogue of sorts so you have a very satisfied fan right here!

Absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much.

This novella was great! I loved the story and all of these characters. “When You Least Expect It” is one of my all-time favorites and I always wanted to read Hannah’s perspective. You write emotional scenes so well Haley — this book gave me all of the feels! I loved it.

Ugh!! Amazing! You continue to write stories that I didn’t even know I needed! Absolutely loved reading more about these characters…thank you! (Now I’m going back to re-read WYLEI.)

I love this so much! This novella makes When You Least Expect It even more perfect

I wanted to reread WYLEI before reading this (just did), and quick question now: what do I do with all these feelings? 😭 I loved every second of it

Just finished this in the middle of the night - so lovely and satisfying! And so cool to get Hannah's perspective!!

So last year when I discovered and read 'When You Least Expect It' I was in Hannah's position. And through the awfulness the book became something I could reread when things felt a bit overwhelming. (And things worked out, thanks to my wonderful lawyer, who annouced she would work for legal aid!) I wanted to say thank you - it has really meant so much to me. And now, revisiting these characters through Hannah's point of view has been lovely. So thank you again.
