Here's a little fun fact about me...

I was in Australia for a month!

I did get every finishing touch on my novella, Down to A Science, coming out in just a couple of days. I admit that I struggled with it as a NOVELLA more than I anticipated - let's all face the facts, I was not built for small, short novels D:

But that's okay. I'm a wordy bitch and I hope that is why you are all here!

I have attached the first three chapters here to get you all ready :)

Novella is to be released so soon, I have an upcoming chapter for the Those Who Wait alt. ending coming up shortly, as well.

In the meantime, I did a give away on twitter for a copy of the In the Long Run audiobook, that came out this month. But since I like you guys the best, I'm going to be doing three audiobook codes here. If you'd like to potentially get one of the three free copies I have, comment here regarding the best place you've ever traveled or place you want to travel the most :)

Also, here is a picture of a kangaroo... I TOUCHED IT

Was I scared? Yes. Was it very soft? Also yes.

As this is a very late comment on an old post, in Port Macquarie, Australia, there is the Bilabong Zoo where you can go into the Kangaroo and Wallaby enclosure and feed and pet them. There is also the Koala Hospital where they find and rehab wild koala's who have been injured. You can pet them also!

Audiobook! Hmm best place I traveled- probably to Manilla to meet my fighter pilot (now) wife on a port call when she was deployed and could get off the boat for three days. Worth the spending more time traveling to see her than actually seeing her, along with the parasite I brought home 🤣

A) yay for not-so-long distance B) I’m on chapter 10 of In the Long Run’s audio book! I have severe ADHD so audio actually helps me absorb stories so thank you for continuing this practice. C) I’ve never really travelled too much but going to Maine with my wife was the best and first vacation I’ve ever been on. I don’t need a free copy so skip by me, but I do enjoy the comment giveaways!!

Hi Haley! I love all your books btw, I really enjoyed The Long Run and would love an audio copy! I’ve travelled a bit over my life and my favourite place so far has been Hawaii, it’s such a beautiful place and the culture and people are so wonderful!

I currently have all your audiobooks but for the sake of sharing best travel stories. I went to Rome as a birthday gift to myself a few years ago (pre-covid) and it was stunning. It was like no matter where I turned or what streets I was on it was like walking around in a painting. Also the food was delicious. Thanks for all you do and enjoy Australia!

Heck yes. Australia is amazing. I hope you love it here. Now that you've petted a kangaroo, you have to try patting an emu. I'm sorry. I don't make the rules. LOL

Happy to hear that Haley. The fact that you choose love over being able to Google anytime you want is ultimate love proof. My favorite place to go was my road trip to west cost USA (i live in France so guess the code works only for US but wanted to share anyway). Can't wait to read you and get to have news of alternative universe Sutton and Charlotte

Hi Haley! Sounds like you're having a great time in Australia - so great that you're able to work from anywhere. I think my favourite trip was visiting Hong Kong with my wife - I lived there for a few years growing up, so being able to show her around and rediscover familiar spots with her was amazing! Looking forward to more of your great writing soon, starting with Down to a Science!

Hi! Sounds like you’re having a blast! To answer your question, I’d have to say Banff in the winter. I’ve seen photos and it looks unreal!

I just wanted to tell you that I pre-ordered the full pride collection and am looking forward to all of them hitting my Kindle tomorrow! The covers all look so pretty together! I think it’s very cool that all of the authors decided to donate a portion of the pre-order sales royalties to charity. Honestly I probably would have only pre-ordered a few of them (of course yours would have been one), but reading about the charity donations motivated me to order them all. I really do think it’s great that you folks decided to do that. I already bought your audiobook so please do not include me in the running for the free code!

So happy to hear about your life update! Wishing your relationship all the best! Also I started the Long Run about 3 hours ago on Audible and I’ve never more happy to pay full price for something in my whole life! You are soooooo gifted for long form story telling that while I really look forward to the novella, I can’t tell express enough how easy it is to be patron of your work. Keep up the great work and thank you for creating such rich narratives and characters for us. BTW really liked the narrator on Audible. Hadn’t heard her before but she did as good of job or better than Lori or Abby

Hi Haley, sounds like you're having a great time. The best place I have ever traveled to is Corsica. A fantastic, diverse island where you can do a lot. Countries I've always wanted to visit are Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately, I haven't made it yet.

Hi Haley, huge fan here! I’m English and met my (very) American wife in Atlanta. Shortly after meeting I moved to Dubai for work and we would meet up in different countries as often as possible. I think one of our fondest memories was Kenya. Still hard to beat wild animals and the dreamy sunsets!

Very happy for you! I have visited my sister there in Australia a couple of times and loved it. I have been wanting to go back home for a few weeks (Manila!) since I haven't been able to travel since the pandemic started. Hopefully I will be able to do that next month :D

Congratulations to you!! And thank you for the wonderful update and chapters.
