Summer is well and truly upon us! 

In my personal life, we've been discussing where to go for a little getaway this summer (and some future vacations), so vacation destinations have really been on my mind. 

Where would you want to go for some fun in the sun?

I went to Yellowstone in April and it and all of Montana and that area is gorgeous!

Also, Provincetown, MA is my go-to every summer! Can't beat queer life, the beach, art, parties, and close to home (I live in Boston)

One of my all time favourite vacations was two day, totally alone at Disney world. It started with a nightmare road trip from Fredericton, New Brunswick to Ocala, Florida. Destination Karen and David O’Connar’s Olympic Eventing farm/training facility. After 5 days of being with horse and owner, I had planned for 2 day in Orlando, by myself to decompress. My time at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot centre was by far some of the most epic soul defining moments of my life. I highly recommend a solo vacation, regardless of how many days it is. Solitude is a blessing in disguise.

Not to be a vacation killjoy but why would any state or country that is unfriendly or hateful towards gays be on the list to visit and spend money in? Skip Florida and all their dont say gay or trans hate. If Disney and beaches on the list go to California.

I would definitely say either France or Martha's Vineyard or a nice mountain cabin. Disneyworld at this point is not worth it. Florida is not and will not be safe for some time.

You are absolutely correct - if I'm being honest, I thought of "vacation destinations" and thought of Disney, but truthfully didn't extrapolate it further than that. Thoughtless of me, and will be doing better going forward :)

France sounds amazing! While I am a giant child and my wife and I go to Universal Studios in FL every couple of years I have always wanted to go see France!
