I am so sad over these alternate chapters. I can not stand to think of all the years these two would have missed together. Charlotte’s strength and bravery over coming out for Sutton was the most powerful expression of love I’ve ever read. Of course I will keep reading because I love these 2, but I am choosing to believe that Charlotte was “terrifyingly, irreversibly, life altering, in love” with Sutton, and made the biggest decision of their lives to be together, from that day forward.
