As we roll into 2024 on patreon, I have to make the announcement - at long last, Midnight Rain, a Those Who Wait AU will see its natural conclusion this year. 

Don't be alarmed - we have a handful of chapters left, and I am going to make sure that we all get to enjoy a couple of good/happy chapters with Sutton & Charlotte even after everything is ironed out in the next couple of chapters.

But, by the second part of this year, we will be entering the next monthly installment story! 

I have several ideas of what this story could be, but given that my lovely patrons here are going to be the people reading it, I do want your input on what will come next. 

And so... let's decide -

I’d read anything of Charlotte & Sutton. But my next favorite thing would be Gianna & Riley- especially getting more of Gianna’s POV. Like, what was it like for Gianna to develop feelings for Riley and have maintained them this whole time in secret? What did she feel when Riley made a move on her? Yes, all of that. And, their forever & a day would be great. I also would love to read more of Caroline & Hannah but since I’ve read both POVs in both books, not sure what the context would be. Maybe it's a forever and a day type thing of there happily ever after? Or maybe it's an alternative story like Hannah is hired by Caroline to build her dream house? Hannah is already a successful architect w/ her own firm, is divorced and has an older kid but still thinks she straight until she starts working with/for Caroline.

However, I’ve pondered about an AU of WYLEI/BTE for a long while. Especially if “Aug 23rd this year” in BTE did not work out. What would Caroline’s relationship with Abbie look like? Etc

What would have happened if Riley figured out her sexuality sooner and then came out to Gianna as Bi/pan (not sure how she identifies)? Would Gianna have gotten the nerve to confess her love?! at least made a pass at her?!
