9/25 early commission opening, x5 slots for Oct 11-17th + schedule thoughts (Patreon)

Hey folks, I'm open for a few color sketch commission slots just for patrons that I can do between October 11th-17th! Just gonna start with 5 slots that I can spread throughout the week, good time to get something for Halloween from me in case I don't end up opening for more in october!

(ended up yapping more below about recent goings-on, TLDR big bills and gotta get ahead of stuff!)

I got hit with some unexpected expenses and wanted to try to get on top of things (lost my ADHD meds on that funeral trip so i've been rawdogging ADHD for the last few days, and gotta have the cash on hand to replace em as soon as they'll let me refill them, also gas prices were brutal), and I've started putting together a commission schedule for myself again, so I'm feeling okay with a few limited commission slots that I can work into my work plan a couple weeks from now after I've had time to clear some more things out of my queue.

I've been glad to be paying most of the bills with adopts, but I've had so many things pull me away from work over the last few weeks that I haven't been able to plunk down enough hours to finish + list enough adopts in time at prices I'm comfortable charging, so I figure it's a good time to go ahead and try accepting a handful of comms with a specific timetable in mind and at least filter it down to Patreon supporters first. When I'm not making new adopts I'm hustling on my queue, trying to keep putting in a consistent amount of time on both - admittedly it's been more adopts than queue work lately, but if I can keep things consistent I'll be able to shift that more toward the queue.

I'm trying to keep pressure lower on myself by putting things up on Trello as a plan of what I'm going to put in some work on each day, not necessarily going to finish. I'm not always going to be streaming my work, as I've been having a much easier time working offline lately, so I may not stream some or all of these commissions unless the commissioner specifies that they want to watch - still working my way back up to streaming regularly, just focusing on working whatever time I'm feeling my best and without feeling the pressure to perform.

Also, it was mid-October 2025 when I last got hit with several weeks of cluster headaches, so I gotta be ready for cluster headache season to start up again this October - I've got taurine capsules on the way, and I'm gonna work through the migraines as best I can, but since they tend to hit me in the middle of the night and destroy my sleep schedule, that may mean waking up at 4am and just going ahead and working on commissions to pass the time while I wait to be able to sleep again. If that does happen, I'll either reschedule stream slots or work on them offline on my own time if the client doesn't mind, and I'm just gonna work as much as possible during my functional hours, whatever hours those may be.

Anyways, just felt compelled to share art thoughts about the next few weeks, thanks so so so much to everybody who's kept supporting me on Patreon despite things being so chaotic!! I've got a ton of big calendar events in the rearview mirror now, actually wrote about some of those events on my FA journal. Gonna keep pushing forward on sharing personal projects I've been working really hard on when I've had time so there'll be more actual unique stuff just for patrons!
