Hey guys! I'm here with a sneak peek for Chapter 3 Part 2. Sadly, this week's sneak peek is not as wholesome or cute as the previous one.

In Chapter 3 Part 2, MC will have the choice whether to kill the police commissioner like Grandpa and Luka wants them to or to just let him go. For this snippet, I'm going to show all the options that MC will be able to choose to kill the poor guy and show you the brief outcome of one of them.

Also, I'm going to assume that MC was ready to kill this guy when Grandpa asked them during the party and is also Ruthless and interested to be the heir.

Note: ${gun1} is just one of the names you chose for the pistol, ${mc_eyes} is your MC's eye color.

"Please… I swear I'll stop going after your family from this point onward. Just please… let me go back to my family. I'm begging you." He clasps his hands together, gazing up at you in despair, brown eyes staring into your ${mc_eyes} ones. If he were not in water, you're pretty sure he'll be kneeling before you.

You promised your grandpa that you'll kill this man. Your grandpa and your uncle don't care whether he'll continue going against your family or not. What matters is that he has tried and that his death will send a message to others who still dare to try to follow his footsteps after this.

You still have no problem doing it now. It'll certainly make both your grandpa and uncle happy and proud. Although, you gotta admit that you feel a bit bad since this guy has not been giving you a hard time so far. Oh well, hopefully, the next ones will be those who clearly deserve the executions.

Another important thing to consider is that killing him by your own hands will send a message to all your future subordinates and other members rival groups that you're not someone to fuck around with.

Or maybe you're having a change of heart? Is that why you're still contemplating right now instead of immediately ending his life? Sure, if you decide to let him live, it'll disappoint both your grandpa and your uncle, but you're confident they'll understand and forgive you. Maybe there'll be another opportunity to prove yourself later on.

#I'll let him live and go back to his family.

#I can't let him live. He must die.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Sorry… But I can't…" Your voice is cold and emotionless, the words cut through the room clearly, chilling in their finality.

You can practically see the last traces of hope vanish from his brown eyes and his face falling. But then, a fire, a resurgence, coming to life as his mind is running a mile a second trying to find some way—anything that he can do to escape his execution.

Not that you'll even let him have a chance of course… How will you handle his execution?

#Just shoot the poor bastard.

#Drown him using my gravikinesis; I want it to be pretty low-key.

#Drown him using my umbrakinesis: I want it to be pretty low-key.

#Execute him using my gravikinesis; I want it to send a message.

#Execute him using my umbrakinesis; I want it to send a message.

If Combat stat is 55 and over.

You raise your pistol, ${gun1}, rack the slide, and aim it at his head. You're really good with almost all types of firearms and it's a piece of cake for you to get a headshot, especially from this pretty close range.

It's all intuitive to you by now, your body going through the motions on its own just based on familiarity and repetition. You pull the trigger, your hands, arms, and body are already bracing for the recoil. The kick of the Deagle is certainly stronger than most other pistols you've used so far, but you're barely fazed by it, having already used and practiced with your uncle's Deagle quite often.

It goes by so fast that the next thing you're aware of is his head snapping back violently as a red spot blooms right on his forehead. Next, the blood mixed with some brain matter splattering the area behind him. You blink and he—or more like his body—is already bobbing on the water face up, and the clear and pristine water around him starts to be tainted deep red as the blood leaks out of the bullet exit wound at the back of his head.

But overall, it's a clean shot and a quick and even merciful death for him.

If Combat stat is 45 and over but below 55.

You raise your pistol, ${gun1}, rack the slide, and aim it at his head. You're pretty good with some types of firearms, especially pistols and other types of handguns, so it should pose no problem for you to get a headshot, especially from this pretty close range.

It's all intuitive to you by now, your body going through the motions on its own just based on familiarity and repetition. You pull the trigger, your hands, arms, and body are already bracing for the recoil. The kick of this powerful handgun takes you a bit by surprise, but thankfully, it's nothing you can't handle, all thanks to some experience you've had handling Uncle Luka's own same type of pistols.

You raise your pistol, ${gun1}, rack the slide, and aim it at his head. You have some training in using pistols and some other types of handguns, your uncle makes sure of that, but you can't say you are good in it. At least, you get the basics of shooting a gun, and you're recalling and converting all you've learnt so far into practice.

You brace your hands and arms for the incoming recoil before finally pulling the trigger. The kick of this powerful pistol catches you off guard and you fail to get it into control; this recoil is cetainly on a whole different level those that you're more used to during training.

The shot misses and hits the window behind him, the bullet lodging firmly into it. You panic and this time, you aim at his torso instead and let go four shots. All four pierce through his chest and stomach before he can do anything else, the force of the impacts knocking his body backwards.

You blink and he's now bobbing face up on the water, the clear and pristine water around him are quickly tainted red as the blood start to leak out of the four gunshot wounds. You take a step closer to the body until you are right at the edge of the pool.

It seems like the poor man is still alive, although barely. His face is still frozen in its shocked expression and a stream of blood is streaming down from the edge of his mouth, becoming diluted as it drips down into the water. He's wheezing as he tries to take a breath, but it only causes him to choke and gurgle on the pooling blood in his mouth. You feel pity for this man, believe it or not. You didn't mean to do this, it should've been a clean kill, and a quick death for this poor man.

There's only one thing you can do for him. You raise your pistol and aim it at his head one more time; this time, not only you're closer but you're also more prepared for the recoil. You take a deep breath and pull the trigger. This time, it goes straight through his forehead, killing him instantly; a much cleaner coup de grâce.
