Progress Update (7 January 2023) (Patreon)

Hey guys 👋 First progress update for the month and year! I hope all of you have been having a good week into 2023! 😄

First of all, I just want to express my utmost and sincere gratitude for all of your support 💖 We've just hit two of our goals in the past month and I'm just floored. I don't know what else to say but thank you 🥰

This month, I'll focus on Chapter 5. I'll say that Chapter 5 will be the chapter where MC will start getting firsthand into the investigation and begin the hunt for the killer in earnest. This chapter will also feature a talk with Jackal (getting to know him a bit, plus some shovel-talk and teasing too 😆) and a talk with Luka and Grandpa regarding the whole thing that has transpired, including the result of the mission in Chapter 3. There will be variations of the talk depending on your choices during the mission in Chapter 3. I'll talk more about all of these in other progress updates as I get to them 😉

These talks were first planned to be the second part of Chapter 4, but I think Chapter 4 is already meaty enough with 46.5K words for one part, so I decide to just change the name for Chapter 4 Part 2 to Chapter 5. I think it's better this way because as I said, Chapter 5 will be where we start to get into the main story while Chapter 4 was like the last introductions MC had with important characters.

Also, I hope you guys have been enjoying the side stories I've posted this week 😁 I'll be opening the side story request for next month and the spicy side story request for this month real soon, so keep an eye out for that and if you guys have any ideas or scenarios in mind, be prepared to share them! 😄

I'll also be doing a Q&A with me, the author, this month. So, feel free to ask me questions about writing and Vendetta, or anything related in general! 💗
