Progress Update (14 January 2023) (Patreon)

Hey guys 👋 Time for another weekly progress update.

First of all, I’ve been really busy with some family stuff this whole week (just right after my birthday too 🥲). Basically, my cousin is getting married and there are a lot of family reunion events and dinners parties being held, but of course, all of these don’t really stop me from trying to work on Chapter 5. Even as I’m writing this progress update down, I’m literally in the middle of getting my hair done for the big wedding party coming later today 😂

As for the progress of Chapter 5, I’m pleased to still be able to write around 1K words everyday and since the last progress update, the word count has reached around 7K words. I actually managed to slip in some writing during these family functions by typing them down on Google Docs app in my phone 🤣 I’ll probably try to do the same during the wedding party tonight.

Back to Chapter 5, I have just finished writing the talk MC will have with the Jackal, getting to know more about him and glimpses of his backstory.

I’m actually going to be posting a sneak peek of the talk containing the shovel talk section later on as soon as I can access my computer! So, please, keep an eye out for that 😁

Next stuff coming up for me to write is the talk with Grandpa and Luka. I can already see that it’s going to be a meaty talk. After that, there is one more major thing happening in the chapter plus another smaller thing that I won’t reveal just yet 😉
