Preparing for a New Year! (Status Update) (Patreon)

Happy Holidays everyone!

First, I want to say thank you for continuing to support me during this transition. After finishing the first book of Bring on the Leisure (still considering a rename), I spent a lot of time thinking. BotL is probably a middle ground between what I had been doing, pure litrpg in LoRG, and what I grew up reading, more traditional prog fantasy. In a way, it was a happy compromise.

But it also meant I wasn't scratching either of the itches.

So I've taken the last two months brainstorming and writing the beginning of a different story. One I'm aiming to publish as a standalone novel, rather than a web serial.

Honestly, I've loved it. But it's a big and complex project that's different from how I developed, so it takes time. For that reason, I'm putting BotL 2 on the backburner for a few more months, as I get a draft of the new project ready.

In the meantime, I also what to pay up on an old promise. So for the foreseeable future, while working on that project, I'll release on largeish chapter a week... for the long promised LoRG Epilogue.

Thursday releases, starting on the 9th. Let's take one more lap through this world that brought me so much joy.

Thanks again for your comments, opinions, and shared enjoyment. It's why I keep writing.

See you in the New Year,

Noret Flood
