Update: I am happy to say that this has gone a lot smoother than I expected, and if all goes according to plan I'll have an updated version up and running by tonight.

So! There was a new patch out today. Bad news is that the patch has broken the Mod completely. Good news is that I am on it and will have a new version uploaded as soon as humanly possible.

Bare in mind that the Mod consists of a boatload of tuning files that I have to alter to make sure that everything is back to normal, so it might take a little while, but I assure you that I will sort it out as quickly as I can.

If you haven't downloaded the patch already and want to keep enjoying Basemental Drugs - Don't download the patch yet, play in offline mode until it is fixed.

hi, in response to you asking what was broken, unlike sacrificials mods your options appear when you click on basemental in the game, it's the animations that don't work like opening the drugs in your inventory. Hope this helps and thanks for the quick response

Seems like they have changed _a lot_ of the codes for tons of stuff. Will get it sorted though, just a couple hundred files to sort out :)

By the way! Seeing that Basemental Drugs consists of so many interactions and functionalities, I would love it if you guys helped me out and reported in this thread on what specifically is not working any more. Will make repairing it go a whole lot smoother.

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded the update this morning before I saw this, so right now I am knocking on wood that everything will be all right. Funny, I just went through and got all my bad cc out and now this. Oh, well. Here goes nothing. If it doesn't work I will tell you.

All of the mod is broken for me so I'd say all of it ... It lets me GROW weed still but that is it.

The game comes out for me in under 6 hours and I us hoping the drug mod would be fixed by then. :)

Version 1.09 that is on my site is also updated for this patch, The patreon version obviously have a lot more functionalities, but the one on my site works with the new patch as well

Thank you so much I apologize I thought I looked through all of that. This should fix my problem. I wasn’t getting the bong, papers or anything like that out to smoke it I was just clicking on it like the previous version.

Heya, updated mine buuuuuut now it's not giving me the option to actually use any of the drugs. I'll place them on the counter and the only option I have is to put in inventory. Any reason why it's still acting like that?

Yes. It is acting like that because you did not follow the installation instructions. Simple as that :) Delete all the old files before installing the new version.

Oh, replacing the files won't work the same way? Alright, will try that. Will I need to hunt for hidden things that may have popped up since installation?

No, replacing them won't work. The older version consisted of a bunch of packages, the new ones all the packages are merged into one package. Not sure what you mean with hunting for hidden things, though?

Hi Tvmasims. Not sure what might have happened or why that occurred. I would recommend getting in touch with Patreon directly and asking them to sort it out
