Finally we got some smoke FX going on the smoking interactions. I have also added the option to share joints with friends. This interaction is in an early days stage right now, and I intend to make this a lot better, but I wanted to give it to you as soon as I got it working. I am going to approach Mike24 to hopefully get some cool animations sorted for this feature, so it might take a little while to get it all in place, so in the meantime you will at least have the option to actually share a joint or two.

I have barely started working on adding in some edibles, but it did not make the cut for this version. It will come soon, though.

How it works

Share Joints

You need to have a friendship level of at least 25% with the Sim you want to share a joint with, and have the actual joint in your Sims inventory. Click on the Sim you want to share it with, go to Basemental Drugs > Weed > Share Joint. Easy peasy!

Glitches Fixed

The Cats & Dogs patch came with a bunch of changes to the code of the Death Interactions, something that has gone completely under my radar. After someone made me aware of this I sorted it out, so it should work again now. If you notice anything about it that isn't working as it should, please let me know about it.

I also removed the autonomy option for the third consecutive dose of hard drugs taken, so your Sim won't be able to autonomously OD anymore. If you would like your Sim to OD you need to force feed them drugs yourself.

Installation Instructions

Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.

Download Basemental Drugs v1.1.4

Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.1.4

Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder.

If you experience issues with Buying or Selling -place basementaldrugs.ts4script directly in your Mods folder.

Not sure what you are trying to say to be honest with you. Make sure you delete the old files before installing the new ones, though.

I'm positive I did that. There's only 2 files right? What I do is go to my mods folder and type your name in the search bar, and I only see 2 files and I delete them. Maybe I missed an old file because I've never had trouble with your mod before. Can I send you a copy of my files if possible? I know you may be busy with other stuff but can you please take a look? Pretty please? 🤗

Can someone point me in the right direction I did batch fix to my cc and everything, but my jewelry, most of my hairs, and skins don't work and come up like a peachy opaque color. the hairs have that weird color streaking through the hair. Please help!!!

I reckon your best bet would be to track down the creators of the hairs and custom skin and check if they have updated it for the latest patch

You need to level up Cocaine, Amphetamine or MDMA Dealing skill to at least level 3 to use the Dark Web :)

The paper is just rolled. There's no green or purple inside of the blunt like there usually is.

The mod doesn't work for me. I tried everything, I enabled all mods. I deleted old versions and installed the new version how its explained. I also removed all other cc to test if it would work on its own, and it doesn't. Only really old versions work for me like (early access?) versions. Hopefully someone can help.

I got a "problem" or maybe im just stupid.. but i only can find the headshop on the pc and i cant find the Dark Web for the drugs O.o And my other problem is i cant cut drugs..

What does not work exactly? The mod has been changed quite a lot in the newer versions

You need a cocaine, mdma or amphetamine dealing skill level on atleast level 3 to use the dark web. You need cocaine or amphetamine dealing skill level 2 to cut drugs

Turn on script mods, put the 2 mod files directly in your mods folder (no subfolders) and make sure you don't have any old files of earlier versions of my mod in your mods folder

Okay its loaded into the game now. Thank you for that. But one last thing my sims reset when I try to buy drugs and the action won't go through. So the mod still isn't working, but I can see it in game. Is this my other mods affecting this mod. Also how do I get whickedwhims to work for this mod, since I know that is a feature to be able to get drugs that way.

You can also roll joints or blunts. You can find the smoking papers or Phillies blunt pack in the headshop or buy mode

You need to level up MDMA dealing skill to level 5, and follow the instructions on level-up 😊

You can make it, after you reach level 5 of the MDMA Dealing Skill. Or you can buy a MDMA pill glass from your CAS assigned dealer which will contain a random amount of the different pill variants.

Okay. Well, I did both of these things. My sims are best friends and the joint is in her inventory, but the option still isn't appearing. I removed all mods and cc, to make sure there isn't a conflict, but the option still doesn't appear. It worked when I first downloaded the mod, but for some reason it isn't working anymore.

Thanks for your help! It's working now, I figured it out. I was trying to share a blunt instead of the joint.

Hi. Not sure where to post suggestions (sorry if this isn't the right place), but it would be nice to have some empty bottles for mdma on the dark web store so we can sell our crafted pills both ways (single or in 5 pill bottles) :)
