We've reached the end of the month, which means it's time for another episode of our community podcast! To close out the month of February, we talk about The Simpsons' 800th episode, strange Disney+ censorship, and the 10th anniversary of the screenshot search engine, Frinkiac. And, as always, we read and respond to your questions and comments from the last round of podcasts. It's all happening on Talk to the Audience: the podcast that derides your truth-handling ability!

Send Help and Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie were both fantastic and made for a great start to 2026's movies! -- Question for Bob, I'll be visiting Vancouver for 3 days in early May - as a resident yourself, what are a couple things/places I should have on my list to check out?

the pitt is good, if you’re looking for a fun weekly show I really recommend it. Of course it is ER, but it’s not JUST ER. It’s ER with modern prestige television filmmaking and the HBOness lets it be extra gory and realistic when it comes to gross hospital stuff. There is an erect penis being drained of blood on screen!

I only heard a bit of the Crow being brought up here and I agree with a friend's take that Crow sounded too much like a little brother type character. Did not work for me at all.

Hello, UK correspondent here, I very vividly remember the alternative Queens Speech and can confirm it was quite a big deal here culturally, but it was also probably the last time The Simpsons was culturally relevant here, and even then it was very much on the decline by 2004.

Reese Witherspoon is in the Bart wants what it wants . But honestly off the top of my head Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lucy Liu were also Simpsons / King of the Hill guest stars. Also, not sure if the commenter was only talking about actresses but for actors Ben Stiller, Brendan Fraser and Henry Winkler appeared on both as well.. but my knowledge of Simpsons only goes up to maybe early season 20s . I’m sure there are way more that I’m not aware of . Edit : I can’t believe I forgot Tom Petty lol 😵‍💫

Having felt pretty mixed about this Simpsons season, I think they're onto something good with having this unexpected duos like Homer and Bumblebee Man or Bart and Frink but they really gotta get better at crystallizing the episode structure. My favorite episode was actually the fast-forward since Bart/Lisa as teens felt like it was coming from a more authentic place. And I will say, Kirk's depiction of BP is not very nuanced and kinda degrading (similar to Khan in one of the last KOTH episodes); cause it puts manic and depressive as these strict binaries rather than treating it multi-facetedly; I think they got too caught up in the idea of the "tech bro" aspect. Changing the lore to a character in Simpsons works best if it's not to make you feel bad at laughing for them for decades.

Appreciate the reply to my comment on Sleeping Beauty. :)

Seconding that it’s worth getting Pitt-pilled. Best show on TV, imo

Correction for the guys: Sam Raimi and Rachel McAdams met on Doctor Strange 2, not Oz the Great and Powerful (she wasn't in that)

I'm sticking up for Kelsey Ann Brady's Crow! Yes, the voice threw me at first but once I accepted it I realized she has a great delivery. She ended up having some of my favorite lines. When you see the extra content they created you see how funny of a person she is. I hope that she gets voice work in the future, I think she has a gift for it.

Also, why isn't there a podcast as great as yours that covers MST3K or Rifftrax? I have tried to listen to most of them but they are all so bad. You should think about starting a network and fill the MST3K void.

I just watched Strip Law and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much Stephen Root’s character looks like Franklin Sherman with a gut. It’s a funny show, (plus A LOT of Simpson’s references) definitely recommend it and Abbot Elementary.
