We've all got the COVID-19 Blues, and since so many of you out there are stuck inside, we decided to release a big chunk of paywalled content for free to maintain global sanity. So please enjoy nearly four hours of podcast fun with our deep dive into Disney's 1992 classic, Aladdin! Like all episodes of What A Cartoon Movie!, this one was previously available exclusively to $10 Talking Simpsons Network subscribers, but now it's free for patrons and non-patrons alike. Please stay safe, and remember to wash your hands repeatedly while you listen!

I can't wipe my ass with podcasts but you two are still heroes in my book. Thank you.

You guys are awesome!!! I’m a teacher who will now be home until April 20th... this definitely helps.

ChemyChems

Super cool guys thanks.

Thanks guys, this is a simple yet great way to add a bit of cheer to this strange time. Makes me glad to have patronized your work for this long.

Thad Komorowski

Couldn't have given me one I DIDN'T hear already? xD But I told you I enjoyed it, so I'm glad everyone else can, too.

Thank you for your service Bob and Henry in these trying times.

Nicholas S Anderson

Very thoughtful of you guys. Hopefully will boost subscriber base immensely. I work for a grocery store. Thank you for helping us through this madness.

I know this is an old podcast so you've probably already been amply corrected, but: ruh-PREEZE is a little more correct, esp. when talking music.

Interesting to see that you guys are so, uh, dismissive of Treasure Planet. I think you’ll be shocked to know that for Disney fans of MY generation (born in 1999 here), that film is a HUGE cult favourite. There are entire videos on youtube with people gushing about how great the film is.

Eric Plunk

Around the time the movie came out I remember reading an issue of Disney Adventures magazine where they referred to Aladdin as a “Marty McFly type”.

Listening to this episode made me realize that the ending to Aladdin is basically this comic: https://i.imgur.com/1lORFfy.png Wising for more Genies is kind of a giant loophole to the whole no wishing for more wishes thing.

I haven't listened to this yet but I expect at least a mention of which Aladdin game was better: Genesis or SNES?
