what a good lineup coming up! Ranma 1/2 is a fun gay pick, and that first Ryoga episode is a solid option from before the animation budget took a hit. Looking forward to voting in this miniseries poll, too, four really good options. Maybe it's finally time for the rude duck - I was really sold on the episode you covered earlier.

ShyRanger

Your WAC episode convinced me. Once the poll is up, I'm voting for Duckman

Sheeeeh! I was so excited to hear you talking about Osomatsu-kun, Henry! I got into the '80s series thanks to the 2015 reboot, Osomatsu-san, but I ended up liking the original even more. Iyami and Chibita are so charming, and it's so much fun! I'd love to hear you guys talk about the Osomatsu franchise one day.

eddiegiantman

I'm picking Duckman but now that Henry mentioned it, I kinda want a Talking ALF one shot.

Bennett Billard

I'll be happy if Duckman wins, but it's been too long since KotH. I need more Arlen, darlin'. As for Movie, I'm thinking either Extremely Goofy or Enchanted Christmas.

There was a more recent attempt to reboot The Munsters in 2012 with a pilot called Mockingbird Lane from NBC. It’s ok with an interesting cast. Eddie Izzard as Grandpa and Portia de Rossi as Lily being the highlights. You can find the pilot pretty easily online; I see a full version on Vimeo currently. Ultimately I’m glad the pilot didn’t get picked up since it was directed by a real monster Bryan Singer.

Joe Hodgson

Definitely voting for Futurama Season 2 Part 2. It felt weird just stopping mid-season and my completest nature just wants to see it through. Plus, it's a great show which doesn't hurt.

Frank Grimes

Even though it's pretty meh, and just a long pilot episode for the series, I'm partial to Return of Jafar. ..although I highly enjoyed an Extremely Goofy movie more overall.

The biggest lie of mincemeat is that traditionally there's beef fat in it. Only the English would find fruit jam beef fat to be appetizing.

Speaking of Assassin’s Creed, I am a huge AC stalwart but did Odyssey ever cure me of that. That game completely lost any identity and was just a mishmash or literally every open world concept Ubisoft has introduced in the last generation. Apparently Valhalla has the same design, so I’m already resigned to skipping it. As Henry mentioned, the only reason Alexios is a playable character is because of a leadership mandate and Kassandra has so much more personality. If you ever wonder why the male AC characters in the modern age (aside from Bayek who has big dad energy) are corny murder-prone schmucks is because the development team was forced to make a male protagonist. I’m sure the one-note characterization of Arno, Jacob and Alexios were acts of silent rebellion.

curse you guys - you cant just put 4 amazing shows on the poll like that and expect me to be able to pick just one. CURSE YOUUUUUU

With all the talk of The Munsters, let's not forget about Mockingbird Lane, the attempted reboot by NBC penned by Bryan Fuller that aired right before Halloween 2012. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2130271/ Eddie Izzard as Grandpa, Jerry O'Connell as Herman, Portia de Rossi as Lily. How could anyone resist? Sadly I can't seem to see it streaming anywhere. And on the plus side, this came right before Hannibal, so if this had to die for that show, I'll take it.

Devin Hoffarth

Your talking about Osomatsu-kun is making me contemplate an Osomatsu-san episode...

I felt a bit puzzled at the dismissal of GitS 2.0 until I did a Google search and discovered that GitS 2.0 (updated rerelease of the original) =/= GitS 2: Innocence (fairly well-regarded sequel that I personally prefer to the original).

Eve of the Stars

Yesss, you guys are doing my favorite episode of Ranma! Can't wait for that one!

To Boldly Joe... Moore

Thanks for reading my comment, guys. Sounds like you're both doing well but best wishes anyway. ^_^

oldmetalpossum

Looking forward to the Korgoth episode, that show was so popular with folks, it felt like every other day on the Adult Swim Message Boards there was a thread posted in general discussion asking when it was gonna be greenlit

Kevin Fitch

If you guys decide to do any more animated movie sequels in the future, I would love to hear you discuss The Rescuers Down Under. I loved that one as a kid and still enjoy watching it as an adult. It’s also a fun little remnant of that weird Australia craze the US had around the 80s.
