Merry Xmas, everyone! We've reached the end of Talking Futurama Season 2 Part 2! (Has it really been nine weeks?) But we're ending this miniseries with a whopper of an episode featuring the legendary comedic talents of Sarah Silverman and Pauly Shore combined. Listen in and witness the return of the once-important career chips, learn whether or not time is cyclical or a straight line, and realize how much the cilantro-obsessed city of Los Angeles looks like the post-apocalypse! Thanks so much to all of you for supporting our podcast network, and we'll see you in 2021 for TWO new Patreon-exclusive podcast miniseries!

(And thanks again to our editor, Alan, for doing such a great job on this series.)

I have..or had brown hair, but reddish orange facial hair which was black when I was younger. So it is possible for Frys facial hair to be different. Swoggle, a pro wrestler, has blonde hair and dark facial hair.

Happy Xmas, Xmas people!

All I want for Xmas is paradox absorbing crumplezones.

Sorry to bring everyone’s christmas down, but the Utöya attack in Norway 2011 was by Anders Breivik, a far right fascist. The attack was against a socialist youth camp, on an island. He just murdered 77 young socialists in cold blood.

Henry accidentally said TLC instead of TCL so many times. It was actually quite impressive. LOL

One thing that's always bothered me about this episode is that they say absolutely NOTHING about Pauly Shore on the commentary. As I recall there's a lot of silence too, suggesting they edited a lot of comments out. Why did they cast him? Did they enjoy having him there? Who came up with the Jury Duty 2 thing? It's so weird because as far as I can tell Pauly has been a punchline from almost day one. He was a regular target on SNL Weekend Update for years before this episode. On Pinky and the Brain, Brain even yelled "Don't you realize Pauly Shore isn't funny?" at Pinky once. So it was jarring to see Shore on this hip new cartoon, playing himself no less.

I caught a Weird Al concert back in the early-mid 2000s (sometime after 2003 anyway, I distinctly remember a song from Poodle Hat being in the set), and while he stuck to his post Lasik look for most of the show, he DID put on the glasses and a curly wig for the performance of Fat (in addition to, you know, that ridiculous fat suit).

Actually, I fondly remember Bob’s Something Awful article that ripped on Weird Al savagely from about 15 years ago. I was surprised, but heartily amused.

I had a TCL TV that Henry has for a year and a half before a (I later discovered) well known back light issue caused the whole thing to be inoperable. It ended up being a good excuse to buy a much better Samsung TV now that I could afford one, and I still think it is cool that there is an entry level 4K 55" TV that (now) only costs around $250.

I'm disappointed you guys didn't come up with the phrase "sephardic good looks" in describing Sarah Silverman's appearance. What am I paying you for!?

I never read the kids as being "gang bangers" but as those rich kids who are pretending to be "tough" and "street" even though they live in the suburbs and are rich.
