I had no idea there was a Simpsons segment in the last episode of Conan's TBS show. I'm glad you guys got to meet him a few years ago! Don't take this the wrong way but I have been enjoying a Critic recap podcast that is not yours called It Stinks! The Critic Podcast. The host of that show also got a chance to interview Mike Reiss in April and briefly discussed The Critic Season 3. Reiss said that scripts were completed, "We had 13 really nice episodes," and he described three of them—Jay buys a movie theatre, a parody of Quiz Show with Marty, and a parody of Single White Female which would have Maurice LaMarche slowly transforming himself into Jon Lovitz. This made me think of your speculation that some post-Critic Simpsons episodes were adapted from this canceled season 3. From this interview, it doesn't sound like that's the case? Nothing Reiss described sounds like any Simpsons episode I'm familiar with. But there's still 10 plots he didn't mention and I'm sure Al Jean would be tempted to at least steal the gags. But no direct evidence yet as far as I'm aware. https://www.podbean.com/ew/pb-2tx74-ffc239

Not to be pedantic about Arcade1up cabinets but they have previously released 4 player cabinets - an original TMNT and an NBA Jam cab. Ok sorry I am a pedant. Please forgive me.

Wow, Bob mentioning Straub was really something. Showing off those eastern Ohio roots (I’m from western PA and didn’t even know Straub crossed the border).

Also new WarioWare coming, that got me SUPER hyped. Do you, Bob and Henry, like that series? I find it super simple but super addictive.

I don't think you could do an Alamo Beer without using the beer it's based off of. "Lone Star" is the 'National Beer of Texas' and I am pretty sure it's what Hank Hill would drink if he were real. It's surprisingly not bad, but definitely on the Tecate level price wise. This was a really fun TTTA! Thanks guys.

As a Clipper fan since 1993 I either didn't know or forgot that James L. Brooks is a Clipper fan. That's awesome! There's more famous Clipper fans , too. Billy Crystal and Penny Marshall are the ones I always remember. Frankie Muniz aka Malcolm is a longtime Clipper fan. I would see the guys from Workaholics on the Jumbotron sometimes when going to games as well as Floyd Mayweather, who (rightly) gets booed every time. When the team started winning in the 2010s more famous people started to show up. It's nice to know that Brooks loved them before that.

Enjoy your time in Vancouver, Bob! And if you'll allow me a genius at work moment, Canada actually leads the world in percentage of the population vaccinated. Our rollout has been slower, so fewer people have had both doses, but 65% of us have had at least one shot. And soon you'll be one of us! Henry, I'm also very excited for the Advance Wars remake this year. Wargroove was fine, but it just didn't scratch the same itch. Hopefully this will lead to a new Advance Wars in the future 🤞

I think most people just sound generic North American now.

I live in the Dallas area, will report back on this Moe's bar. Also, Alamo is PROBABLY a stand in for the "national beer" of Texas, Lone Star.

The mention of people not realising that Tina Fey on SNL was making fun of Sarah Palin reminded me that there's an episode of 30 Rock based on that, where a character's satire of a controversial politician actually makes him more likeable and popular with a wide audience.

Hey, guys. Thanks for reading my comment. Glad to hear things are going well for Bob and Nina. ^_^

So as someone who has been following the Arcade1up runs since I got my NBA Jam last year (Sure I over payed but not like I was gonna use that extra money for anything else plus it was online so that's nice) some advice to Hank getting his. Don't go crazy during the pre-order phase. They are usually a shit show so especially if you are buying to hold it for a little later it will come back into stock after pre orders and release. Also it will be a limited run but they usually do not get hard to find til a year plus after the release. So you might be better off waiting for a sale from a Best Buy or Wal-Mart several months after the release. So don't just buy it cause its a limited run. Its not that limited a run. Plus the direct from the retailer sales screw you on shipping plus they throw in a stool to make you spend more (Its a fine stool but unless you need to sit on the pink doughnut get a cheaper stool... a stool is a good idea for it thou)

Damn you guys for making me remember Lil Bush existed

I am so glad Bob got into Columbo.

Frank Grimes

If you enjoy ace attorney and Columbo, check out Monk and Psych!

Kat Heagberg

I long for the day when someone designs a Simpsons sneaker I can actually run in.

Dennis Kanenwisher

I always thought the Ace Attorney games were more Perry Mason than Colombo

The unintentional "El Borto" on the Adidas shoe got shared in my gaming group chat where we all use the clan tag "Bort".

What makes "March of the Wooden Soldiers" (AKA "Babes in Toyland") even more horrifying and awful is that the Mickey Mouse "puppet" is actually a monkey that they shoved into a clearly uncomfortable costume. Also, Guitar Center is (was?) the king of trying to upsell customers. I had to stop going there, as doing something as simple as buying a pack of guitar strings turned into a huge ordeal where I'd be forced to deal with multiple salespeople relentlessly trying to sell me more gear.
