The results are in and our patrons have spoken: this fall, our Patreon-exclusive podcast miniseries will cover 10 selected episodes from the legendary Batman: The Animated series! While we usually go in chronological order with our limited series, this time we thought we'd try something different. Since we only have so much podcasting bandwidth to spare, we definitely wouldn't get to talk about our favorites if we limited ourselves to the 10 episodes that just happened to air first—so we decided to cheat a little. And while we haven't decided on our selections yet, we're also including The New Batman Adventures in our list of potential episodes, because it's basically the same series (albeit with a few polarizing visual changes).

We'll post the full schedule of this upcoming miniseries as we get closer to its launch, but for now all we can tell you is that Talking Simpsons Network patrons on the $5 level or higher will be able to access our new weekly B:TAS podcast miniseries when it goes live on Friday, October 29th. Stay tuned and thanks again for all of your support!

If we ever want duckman to win we can't put it up against one of the greatest cartoons of all time. No one wants talking duckman more than I, but I'm not even upset that batman won. PS please do the clayface episodes.

Olympian Comics

If I was a troll I would say you should do the awfulness that is Critters. But I don't want to subject you guys to that.

Rei Hernandez

I really hope Over The Edge makes it in! Growing Pains is another amazing episode (and from TMS!) as are Joker’s Millions and Old Wounds. TNBA is really underrated!

Tashmon Dimps

I for one am excited for this mini-series! I've missed out on most of them bc I just haven't watched a lot of the shows featured, but BTAS is legit one of my favorite cartoons and I can't wait to hear you guys talk more about it.

Chris K

Hell. Yeah.

Frank Grimes

A tad disappointed because I rather it get the proper miniseries treatment, and we do 10 eps of a season then do 10 more etc until the season ends. Also cause wanted Daria to win

Jethro Mojave

Hell yes. GOAT series, best incarnation of Batman and villains, introduced some legendary characters.

Kevin Peterson

Thank you for not sorting the last 24 episodes as a different series. I don’t remember that being a thing until very recently. That being said, aside from the Joker, the new designs rule. Scarecrow is AWESOME

Trevor White

Maybe throw us one episode of Duckman as a WAC episode we were so close!

SomeBloke

This razor thin margin over Duckman is literally the only way I could be disappointed that a show as good as Batman, a program with a stranglehold over an impossibly large part of my childhood, won the poll. I’ll listen. I’ll enjoy. But I’ll always dream of what could have been, dammit. (Nah, just laying it on thick, bring on the Batman!)

Frank Grimes

My predictions...over the edge, feat of clay, two face, penchant to dream, beware the grey ghost, Robins reckoning, if you're so smart why aren't you rich, trial, shadow of the bat, demon quest

littleterr0r

Kinda bummed for the first time in the history of WAC :(

Diamond Feit

Batman miniseries starting right before Halloween, eh? Excellent. Can we vote for our favs?

Michael Branson

Great. But it’s gonna be almost got em and mad love and the same ol episodes. They will have a great convo about it, but daria or duck man could have been epic.

Michael Branson

Awesome Mr. Mackey, I’m looking forward to it as always. You made me pull out my vhs of hunchback and watch it on loop with that cast. Are you guys including the Batman/Superman adventures run? The episode where Superman has to be batman is so great. Really shows how different they are.

Dylan (batmanboy11) Freitag

While it's a bummer that Duckman is once again in the losers corner, I really cannot complain about a BTAS mini-series.

Blargh

Hopefully next mini series will be talking of te hill part 2 of season 2. It was amazing

glowstickjuice

Here's how Duckman can still win. No but really, maybe the next poll could be a Duckman yay or nay vote? Seems like every time it loses it gets more and more support. It's hard when it's going up against such heavy hitters, but it might have more of a shot in a yes/no poll.

The Lizard Queen

I just showed my fiancé the episode “House and Garden” and we marveled at the implications of what had to be accomplished to execute that farce. Underrated and creepy IMO.

Guy Incognito

Any possibility of having World’s Foremost Batmanologist Chris Sims guest on some of these eps? I know you guys have collaborated with him in the past. He’d be perfect for this mini-series

Eli Hernandez

I’m so happy! Whenever I had a bad day at school, I had two things that kept me going, The Simpsons and Batman the Animated Series. A ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Thanks everyone who voted for this.
