🎬 The video is up, and the books are real.

Adventurers and Arcane Circle, our fourth module is on its way to the official Foundry VTT catalog: Heavy Lore, lore with weight.

Stop reading lore out loud. Heavy Lore lets you hand your players the object: a leather journal that opens with weight, a tome whose pages bend under their pointer, a wax sealed scroll that cracks open before their eyes, a burned warning with a real hole where the second hymn used to be.

We just published a full video showing it in action, and honestly, this is the one you want to see rather than read about:

What's inside:

Three kinds of artifact: books, coil bound notebooks, and rolled scrolls with rods, bands and procedural wax seals

The Bindery: design covers live with leather, dyes, foils (blood foil! infernal glow!), 19 sigils or your own image, marbled endpapers

The Desk: write on the real page, stain it with blood, mug rings and fingerprints, burn holes that go through the sheet

The 3D Reader: fullscreen, dust in the candlelight, pages with spring physics, seals that shatter

Handing over: choose per player if a book is theirs to read or theirs to write in, perfect for in character field notes

SessionFlow integration: a Heavy Lore shelf widget right inside SessionFlow's panels

Everything is procedural: paper, leather, seals, marbling, even the page turn sounds. Zero stock assets. Every book is unique and forever itself.

When can you get it?

The module is submitted and we're waiting on the green light from the Foundry team to go live on the catalog. As soon as it's available I'll make a new post here with everything you need. It will be included for W&W Adventurer and W&W Arcane Circle members, same as SessionFlow.

Watch the video, get hyped, and start thinking about which cursed diary your players are going to find.

Thank you for making this possible!

This looks like something I've been waiting ages for! Will it be listed on the Forge as well?

Do the players have access to that library? I totally love it. Are you planning anything for tokens and battle maps? Exalted Scenes isn’t compatible with other battle modules o effects. Also, a good QoL feature would be a highlighted turn marker when it’s a player’s turn. BTW Amazing work, I really love all your modules! They’ve been incredibly useful at my table, and I’m genuinely excited to see where this one goes.

The module is LIVE! 🎉 You should be able to find it on Forge now as well! <3

Hey Desert Wolf! When it comes to maps, I already have MapForge, and next month it’s getting a MASSIVE update to bring it fully into the V14 era. Also, those are some fantastic suggestions for Exalted Scenes. As for your question about tokens... do you know what the biggest problem is? I’ve been running Exalted for years, and Exalted doesn’t really use tokens or battle maps the way most games do. Because of that, I haven’t focused on those areas nearly as much as I probably should have. But I do have some good news for you. I’m about to start running D&D. And my friend... once that happens, you can expect an absolute flood of new modules and features related to tokens, maps, and all the little challenges that D&D GMs have to deal with every single session. In other words... Your timing might be perfect. 😈

One question: in the mini-library that lets you preview books, how can I prevent them all from appearing as Untitled Notebook?

I take back what I said, I've already found how. XD
