The Stockpile is nearly here (and I owe you a small apology first) (Patreon)

Hey everyone,
Let me start with the honest part. I told you a new module would be out, and we're now more than a week past the date I promised. I'm sorry. I really hate missing a date I put in front of you.
Here's the truth of it. The Stockpile turned out to be a much bigger animal than I expected. It doesn't sit politely on top of Foundry. It reaches straight into the game systems, D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, and talks to them directly: real coins, real prices, real skill rolls, gold and items moving between character sheets on their own. Every one of those touchpoints has to be right, because the moment money is involved, "almost right" just isn't good enough.
And life happened on top of that. My sister lives in Finland and doesn't get to come home to Brazil very often, so while she's here, I want to actually be here for her. Add the World Cup to the very same week (I'm Brazilian, you can do the math) and sitting down to focus and ship became... a challenge.
So I'm late. But I'd rather be a week late and proud than on time and embarrassed.
With that out of the way, let me show you what we built.
THE STOCKPILE
We set out to make the shop module we always wanted at our own table. Something that feels like a place, not a spreadsheet. A shopfront with art, a merchant with a face and a mood, gold and goods that move between sheets without you bookkeeping any of it. The goal was a module a GM and their players can open and just... use, no manual required, and underneath that, enough depth that anyone who wants to can crack it open and shape every corner of their shop's economy and personality. Easy to start, deep when you want it to be.
Here's some of what's waiting inside.
★ A merchant with a mood
Every shopkeeper has a goodwill toward your party, and that mood bends their prices. Treat them well and the numbers soften. Get caught with your hand in the till and watch them cool right off. In dynamic mode the mood even shifts on its own as the party buys, haggles and behaves.
★ Haggling
Players can roll a social skill to talk a price down. Win a good one and the bargain holds for the day. It's a little gamble at the counter, and it feels great when it lands.
★ Theft
Want to pocket something instead of paying for it? Roll for it. Get caught and there are consequences: the merchant remembers, prices climb, and a repeat thief can get shown the door.
★ Reputation
The merchant remembers you across visits. Spend your coin honestly and you become a regular, with a regular's prices. Burn them and you're the one they keep an eye on at the door.
★ Market events
War, plague, a hard winter, a festival, a raided trade route. Drop an event on a shop and prices move while it lasts, or certain wares vanish until things settle. Your shop reacts to your world.
★ Restock, with a loot table built right in
Each restock rolls a fresh shelf from a pool you build, with the chances and quantities you set. The home-town smith carries something different every week, and the whole shop becomes a loot table you can reuse and share between worlds.
★ A back room
Keep your best wares out of sight and make players earn their way in: through goodwill, reputation, a search roll, or a key you hand them yourself. There's a whole secret shop hiding behind the one they can see.
★ Services
Sell an effect instead of an object. A hearty meal that leaves you Well-Fed, a room for the night, a healer's poultice, a blessing from the local shrine. The buff lands right on the character sheet and counts itself down.
★ Pre-orders
Take a deposit on a made-to-order piece, or let a player pre-pay for something that's sold out and have the next restock deliver it straight to them. A magical waiting list.
★ A group cart
The one almost nobody else does. Your whole party shops together, pools funds across different players' characters, picks who receives each item, and splits the bill evenly or by who's richest. All of it handled cleanly, with no spreadsheet at the table.
And under all of it, D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e are first-class, with their real coins, prices and skills. With more systems to come (CoC and Daggerheart should be present on launch, with some asteriscs)
SO, WHERE ARE WE?
We're in the final stretch. Sckaar has the module in hand and is testing it as I write this, and we're down to small adjustments. If nothing surprising jumps out, The Stockpile should land on Foundry's official package list this coming Monday.
A thousand apologies again for the wait. I put my whole heart into this one, m and I just couldn't let it out the door until it was right.
I really hope you love it. I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.
With care,
Gabú
