It has been more than a month since my last video on YouTube, and that is way too long. So I recorded something different this time. No module demo, no new feature. Just me and a little goblin, talking to you directly.

You already saw most of what happened here on Patreon, because you were the ones who kept reading and kept supporting while the channel stayed silent. But I owed everyone an explanation, and I owed you a thank you that wasn't buried at the bottom of a changelog.

The short version: making videos without showing my face takes an absurd amount of work, I'm a solo developer, and for a while I simply got overwhelmed. The modules never stopped. The talking did. That part is on me.

What's in the video

Why the channel went quiet, honestly

Everything that shipped while I wasn't posting: the new Exalted Scenes sidebar panel, SessionFlow's audio panel integrated with Narrator's Jukebox, folders and a cleaner interface in Narrator's Jukebox, the complete Your Flavor overhaul, updates to Heavy Lore and The Stockpile, and MapForge 1.0 official on Foundry VTT

The little goblin who is going to help me post more often. He handles the face part, I handle the talking part

A promise: a new video at most every three days. Terms and conditions apply

The new D&D campaign I'm about to run, and why my brain has been on fire since my players said yes

Something big coming tomorrow, with a full video showing everything it can do

I'm forty, I'm a dad, and I still overthink a message for three days before answering it. If I've been slow with you on Discord or here, please don't read it as not caring. It's the opposite. This community changed my year, and I mean that literally.

Thank you for staying. See you tomorrow.

I understand where you're coming from. When I am programming and in the zone I'm usually the only one in the house and it is deathly quiet - it is my work and nothing else, even though it's just a hobby. But then, this is how I usually do all activities when I need to focus - except for the loud ones. People, music, hair gently caressing/tickling my ear (I hate that), notifications, and loud outside noise all distract me. Nope. For me it is best when I can hear a pin drop. This can go on for several days - my wife gets a hello a not much else unless she is insistent.
