I'm continuing with a kind of follow-up to the previous comic.

For the backstory, I initially thought about Hades' design, assuming that most people probably associated Hades with death, so I went for a "reaper" version of the myth. However, I later realized that a lot of people distinguish between Hades and Thanatos. So now, I like to think that Hades just takes on that appearance to welcome souls into the underworld and immerse them directly in the ambiance of the afterlife. :D

But that raises the question: What does Hades really look like? I already have a design in mind, but honestly, I wonder if I should just keep the enigmatic aspect, something no one will ever see (except Persephone, of course).

Persephone's face in the third panel speaks volumes!

Loved it and Persephone reaction to seeing Hades true self. Would love to see what he does look like but for me I shall use my imagination

lol I'm guessing the whole, there is beauty in death...

Evelyn Koll

I would love to see it ❤️.

Mythology has Hades & Thanatos as Very different people. Hades Roman counterpart is Pluto. Hades parents were the Titans Rhea & Kronus but Thanatos was the son of Nyx & Erebus, primordial beings that preceded the Titans.

I'd keep him enigmatic. Make it his "thing" with P.

Tanja

Now I'm currious but I like it, that Persephone wants to keep it to herself. But is Cerbie allowed to see it? And would he be confused?

Edo Pronk

I am so happy she was so enthusiastic to see it. With the first picture I feared she would be angry he was 'lying' to her, or hiding something.

Barbara

I really adore possessive Persephone XD

Adam

Can’t believe you would tease us like that and NOT show us 🤣

Sandra

love it

Angela Antis

Well..... now I want to see it, too....

Jane Reid

I definitely want to see

Didier

...not Aphrodite! I still laugh at that!

Catmandu

Hilarious!!! We should all be so lucky to have someone look at us like that.
