“Are you listening to me, bitch?! Do you really think you’re getting on a plane tomorrow?” Luca shouted, his face a mask of maniacal rage. “That is wishful thinking if I ever heard it! You will be dead and floating down the Tiber and into the sea, where the sharks and other scavengers will consume what remains of you! No one will ever know where you vanished to!”

“So you like to think, Luca, but there is a simple truth you need to understand. You didn’t take me unawares. I allowed you to take me. The punching and slapping you’ve been doing to try to make me talk? I’ve met nuns who hit harder than you idiots!” Zaryna laughed.

“You won’t be laughing when I cut your fucking tongue out, bitch!” one of the other men said as he pulled out a sharp knife.

“Ooooooo! Now, it’s play time!” Zaryna cackled as she threw away all pretense and embraced her true power. The lethargy and helplessness she had put on as an act blew away as she stood up, breaking the chair that held her as she did so. All three men scrambled backwards, falling all over themselves, as they did not expect this.

“As I said, I allowed you to take me,” Zaryna said, her voice deepening in timbre as her form changed and the scraps of the chair and rope fell away from her body.

The shock on the men’s faces morphed into fear, quickly evolving into an emotion she was all too familiar with; terror. She grinned ferally, her human teeth quickly shifting into razor sharp serrated teeth, much like that of a shark. Horror overcame them as they watched her skin darken to a deep red and her eyes glowed a blazing yellow.

What terrified the men most was her size, as she was continually getting bigger until she literally towered over them. She was on the verge of cackling out loud at the three of them until a pungent odor reached her nose. Zaryna grunted and wrinkled her nose, but couldn’t help laugh at them, anyway.

“Seems I haven’t lost my touch, as at least one of you, if not all of you, has just gone and shit yourselves,” the demoness laughed. The men exchanged looks, sniffed the air for a beat, then they all scattered, trying to make a run for it.

Zaryna dashed forward, using her inhuman speed to catch the fastest of the three. The fingers on her hand extended, the tips turning into sharp claws. They dug right into the man’s abdomen, and he cried out for a moment, before all breath was stolen from him. The demoness then curled her claw into a fist and pulled, ripping the man’s guts right out of him.

The second man had made it to the door and had almost opened it. Zaryna acted as quickly as she could, picking up a gardening spade and hurling straight at him. It flew end over end, embedding itself into the man’s spine. He seized up for a moment, then crumpled to the ground, like a marionette that had its strings cut. She could sense the man was still alive, and that was good, for her, as she didn’t want to give the man a painless death.

Luca had made himself scarce, but he was nowhere in sight. Zaryna could tell that he was still there, as there was only one way in or out of this storehouse. Not only had she not seen him make it to the door, but she could smell him. Especially his fear, as the air was thick with the acrid and delightful scent. She giggled to herself, as she knew he was imagining all the wicked torments she could put him through.

She sniffed the air, trying to pick him out amid the overwhelming scent of fear the other two were putting out there. It took a moment, but she was finally able to narrow down where Luca was hiding. But the man broke cover and pulled his gun, emptying the clip at Zaryna from behind. She yelped as she felt the rounds penetrate her body, the force knocking her to the ground.

Zaryna gasped and gurgled, as the demonic magic did its work to heal her body. It took a few moments, but soon enough, the wounds had healed themselves and she was able to stand again. She heard an audible gasp behind her as she rose and turned around. As she did this, Zaryna looked down at her dress and growled audibly, angered at the state of her attire.

“You dirty, rotten son of a bitch!! This was a brand new Bottega Veneta, custom made for me and me alone!! Do you have any idea how expensive this dress was?!” Zaryna screamed, her voice reaching decibel levels that made Luca’s ears bleed.

Bottega Veneta = $4,600 I can see why she is going to hurt him

And that's just for a standard piece that is bought from a collection. A custom made piece is considerably more!
