Haven't commented for a while now, but I do enjoy the twists and turns in the storyline quite immensly I must say. And I'm fairly certain that we readers will be surprised with what Jaesa will discover on the station for sure. And I'm fairly sure that Alexander and his team will pull through with style in their assignment as well. Keep the good work going and keep surprising us with how the story unfolds.

Ha! Shouldn’t they fire up some music before they jump, though? Something... Classical?

Discovered Project Prometheus a few weeks ago and just caught up with the first 74 chapters. This is my first comment. Your writing has improved since the first few chapters. Chapter 74 describes scenes from a human perspective that connects the story to our emotions… something you are getting very good at. One thing I hope you plan to do is end the story. When people wrote books that would go without saying, but with Patreon a lot of writers keep writing chapters in the same story forever. What’s lost in that approach is the pressure to build a tight plot that builds towards a satisfying conclusion for the reader. Patreon is hardly the first medium to encourage writing chapters that are interesting but don’t go anywhere. TV series have always been like that. ‘Lost’, for example, was an endless series of chapters that each divulged a little secret that felt a bit like plot development… but you eventually figured out you were just being strung along by an ad vehicle. When shows like this are finally canceled, if time and budget allow, a little ending is tacked on. Usually an uninspired afterthought. Project Prometheus might have started off as an experiment in writing some chapters that have sex scenes tied together with a bit of plot and character development. But you’d be selling yourself short if you thought that now. Returning to the dreadnought, firing up the hyperdrive, with some surprises delivered by a living Prime helping, and having them sail off to mysterious new places, would be a example of a good ending to the story. People will be begging for the next volume. Thanks for being a consistent writer… it’s a pleasure to support you and your work.

Thank you for your kind comment and for pointing out how platforms like Patreon in a way spur writers to write without end and that is one thing I am being quite diligent in avoiding. There is an end planned for this story, and I have no intention in turning this tale into another 'Lost', rest assured. Just right now, what is out there and the eventual return to the Perseus is akin to the first Mass Effect game. Getting to the Perseus and dealing with the issue that will crop up upon their return,(SPOILERS!), will be the end of the first act. There is much to be established and kick off in the universe, but there is much more of this story left to tell, that it will take a while before it is told in full. Trust me when I say that I already have the ending planned out and it's a really good one, but it will take a while before we get there. Oh and the way I have things planned out for how this story is going to end... imagine a mishmash of Avengers Endgame, GoW Ragnarok, Mass Effect 3, Return of the Jedi, and Star Wars Rebels(the final battle against Grand Admiral Thrawn). That is how this story will end and, as one of my favorite martial artists said in one of my favorite films, 'As one tale ends, so another begins!'.

C. H., a few chapters ago a couple took off into space heading toward the Perseus. I didn't forget about them. I am purposely not mentioning their names so others can go back and figure it out. It was nicely written. I always look forward to your storytelling especially since a famous British writer has let me down these past 2 years. I also thought of "The Fractured Fairy Tale" videos of yesteryear. You always go where no one expects. Yes I am that old. Keep up the great work.
