Though a bit shy at the idea, Elizabeth realized that she could use a guy friend like Jason, not only as someone to help when she needed an itch scratched, but also as someone who would have her back. Liz knew that she had inadvertently alienated some of her friends with her super intense ways and big mouth. It wasn’t that she had meant to do that, but that was the way the dice fell. As she was thinking, she saw Jason doing something peculiar, like he was sniffing the air.

“Why are you doing that?” she queried.

“Do you smell that? It smells like… food cooking!”

Elizabeth thought that he was losing his mind or was likely hungry, but right then, a savory aroma reached her nose. It smelled like… grilling meat. She took a few sniffs herself to be sure that she wasn’t imagining things. Yup, she smelled food cooking as well and by the look on Jay’s face, it was clear where his mind was turned to.

“It smells like…kebabs?” she guessed.

“I think so,” Jason agreed, but the look on his face said that he was certain of it. The both of them turned about to leave the inlet when they found their path blocked by a bunch of leafy branches and vines. They were both startled at seeing it there but weren’t overly perturbed by it.

“I guess that it must have fallen from over here and stopped when it hit the rocks,” Jason fibbed, as he pointed to a nearby cluster of trees. Though he knew the truth of the matter. He must have subconsciously drawn from his power to come up with some kind visual barrier to deter anyone from seeing what they were up to.

“How did we not notice it coming down?” Liz wondered, her voice not quite convinced of his explanation.

“Would you have noticed a nuclear bomb going off, the way you were trying to suppress your screaming?” he jabbed at her playfully. Cheeks reddening, Liz shook her head as she smiled at the memory of her orgasm. Jason was right, as her entire focus had been about chasing that peak as Jay ate her out.

Pushing slightly on the barrier, Jason found that it gave way quite easily, allowing them to pass without issue. Once clear, he stared back at the little inlet and smiled, thinking that it would only allow him in now. He was going to have to ask Mina about the use of his power like this when he saw her next. He turned his attention back to swimming as both he and Liz crossed back to the beach on the other side.

The made good time across the cove, Elizabeth huffing slightly as they finally reached shallow water. Jason, due to his shape and Druidic nature, was barely even winded as they made their way ashore and dried off. Now that they were much closer to camp, the smell of grilling food was evident, and Jason thought he could smell proper kebabs with vegetables and… hot dogs, or sausages.

Either way, his stomach growled loudly, causing Liz to giggle, until her own midsection rumbled, causing her to flush in embarrassment. They dressed quickly, the two of them eager to get some food in their bellies. They made good time to the campground, taking less than two minutes to get there, as they followed the smell.
