Hi, I am comment number one! wow! I can't believe that no one else has yet to comment,.. and kudos on getting this wonderful installment to us only a day late after a short month. Your story line is zigging when I expected you to zag,.. you are keeping it interesting, thank you! And while I am loving your well developed planets, I am looking forward to the crews' return to their respective Arcs and complete their updates and overhauls. And then it will really get interesting! Oh, and I have enjoyed your approach to ladies with something extra, in the future they would be much less of a big deal so you write it that way, thanks again. And finally, why do I get the feeling that you have so much of this tale already mapped / plotted out that some of the hints that have been dropped over the past thirty some chapters may not bare fruit for another one hundred chapters! Maybe if you could knock out longer installments,.. but you are pretty consistent for someone who has a life ( and life, as well as turned ankles, can distract a writer ) and your monthly output is pretty darn impressive, good job! So grab a beer, cuddle on your wife, and I'll read you again in a few short weeks. TTFN

Thank you for the kind words, good sir! Reading this sort of comment just warms my heart! Today, you have made my day!!! It's always heartening to hear that I can keep my readers guessing! That tells me that I'm doing my job as a writer!! On the feeling about how I've got this story mapped out for a while yet, you're not wrong! Concerning that aspect of the story and the subtle hints I've left in each chapter, I'll leave you with rule #2 of the five rules of success; Never, ever think small, think BIG!!! Happy to hear you are enjoying the story!!! Cheers!!!

Michael56Smith

And you have made my day twice, once with the new chapter and once with the individual reply note. Also, I feel that thinking BIG and sci-fi / space opera stories go hand in hand. You create whole solar systems, life sustaining planets, space stations and star empires. You invent backgrounds for Alien species, and you coordinate whole space battles, you read minds, and you invent new alloys with fantastic properties, as well as high tech gear. I think a writer of sci-fi space stories must think BIG by definition. I am just impressed that your hero can keep so many women happy all the time (now that is a BIG fantasy story!). Maybe he can get Jaesa to work up a few 'Alex' sex-bots to help give all the girls some individual-all night-quality time. Or would that interfere with the erotic side of your space opera? The 'girls' could all take the various 'Alex' bots innocence, and wouldn't that be a steamy chapter or two?!! TTFN

Oh I have an answer for that, but I won't say anything further on the matter, because... SPOILERS!!!

RedB

Only up to page 7, and I am so much enjoying reading this. Fantastic and thanks.

Michael56Smith

Yes, it's a GUSHER!! Fans are all agog; you have written well C.H. my friend!! ;-) TTFN

Cornbread

I should have took my time, but I was too anxious to get caught up. This has been some excellent reading and I am looking forward to the next chapter.

C. H. Darkstrider

Well, there are two other stories that you could get into. If you like modern day fantasy or post apocalyptic erotica, that is.

MICHAEL MCCARTHY

Great read. I HATE WAITING FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER......😀

Cornbread

Afternoon C.H. Will you also be making art work for the ships? My mind is creating a look but I'm hoping that it is coming in the future 🙏

C. H. Darkstrider

I will be working on that, eventually. I want to get the characters done up first, so everyone can see them. Finding an artist to do the ships and such will be a bit of a search, but it will get done. Until such a time where I can stay at home and revive my artistic talents, I will have to rely on the slow process of getting commissions.

Cornbread

I am on board for the journey. I am rereading the chapters to be sure I did not missed anything.

Michael56Smith

Yes, me too! I agree Cornbread. He packs a lot into his chapters, so you definitely do not want to miss any critical tidbit or clue as to what's ahead for our heroes! TTFN

Cornbread

Re-reading Chapter 17 Alex: "Besides, with something as small as the Darkstrider flying around, no one is likely to give us a second glance." Question: How is that working out? :-)

Cornbread

Rereading chapter 32. I just had an idea and thought I would suggest it. How about a look back on what is happening back on planet Talemkha. I am assuming Jaesa is still collecting the wreck ships and overseeing the Sentinels.

Michael56Smith

Good thought Cornbread! I too would be interested in any fun stuff going on back at the --brr-- Talemkha colony site,.. and how is the excavation of the long buried arc coming along,.. as well as their newly awakened A.I.,.. any growth or adjustment pains? So yes, much stuff to catch up on. So C.H. any chance of a quick look-back happening any time soon? Thanks for listening. TTFN

Cornbread

OH NO, My finger is getting heavy hanging over 'F5'

Michael56Smith

,.. be strong Cornbread, you are my hero you know, hang in there buddy! as I press my own F5 key,.. frown,.. wipe drool from chin,.. pause,.. press F5 key again,.. and again, endlessly looping,.. ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

,.. err, ah,.. 'modern day fantasy',.. oh, maybe, sometimes,.. if nothing else is on,.. And as for 'post apocalyptic' tales,.. yucky, phooey, hack and spit!,.. no I don't care even a least little bit for the genre. ,.. but I encourage you to go ahead and enjoy,.. {:-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

,.. and PS: the whole of the Mad Max series seriously sucked ass!!! :-0 TTFN

Michael56Smith

,.. oopsy, sorry,.. I got you confused with another writer that I have followed, who has not written recently, but instead has studied and practiced to become a wonderful 3D artist, also on Patreon, under the name: J.S. Bloodwine. Who I hope will return to published authorship soon ( but not wishing any badness onto the sick family member that is in his care ), I thought that his beginning stories from 4 years ago showed great promise and if he can do his own story art too,.. well bonus! :-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

Oh, I have tried to swing one Zachary Hoover your way, but I am too computer illiterate to post him a link,.. I double checked the name spelling I gave him, and told him to try Literotica -- Author index -- and enter your C.H. Darkstrider handle, I hope he finds you and your fine story(s). I bumped into him on Teflers TSM site on Patreon. ( I expect that he will become hooked also, and since he is a fan of TSM, then he will love your Prometheus saga ) TTFN

C. H. Darkstrider

Well thank you! I appreciate the vote of confidence in my work!!

Cornbread

Good Afternoon All, I have discovered that if I bring pizza and beer to a waiting party, things seem to happen. Hopefully, the Drool and F5 will not get too messy like at the other party. :-)

Michael56Smith

Hear, hear! ,.. and pass that bong over here!,.. and that pizza doesn't have any anchovies on it does it? ,.. oh boy! some people's children,.. burp!,.. come on Prometheus! Yay! ;-) TTFN

Humens

I completely agree with Michael56Smith comment. I am a long long time Patreon of Tefler (think i joined in the teens of TSM) and only recently realized you had one as well. Immediately joined as you both have a fine skill at “spinning a yarn” that I enjoy. Keep up the great work!
