March 2022 Update! (Patreon)

Good evening, everyone! C.H. Darkstrider here with the monthly update! Yes, this one is late in coming, and yes, I know people have been chomping at the bit for what’s been going on lately. Well, stick around folks, because there is a fair bit to talk about in this update! So, without any further ado, let’s get into it!

First off, I just want to say that as far as this whole conflict that is going on in Ukraine is concerned, I am vehemently against it! What Putin is doing and what he is saying to justify Russia’s actions in Ukraine is total and utter garbage! Ukraine is a free and sovereign nation that should not have been attacked in the first place!

This sort of shit reminds me of what happened back in the 90s, when Serbia attacked Croatia, the homeland of my father. It ignited a senseless war that lasted for years and saw thousands die, and for what? Just to sate some megalomaniac’s ego? In a bid to control as much money, power and resources as possible, so he could have his own little fiefdom??

Such bullshit cannot be allowed to stand and I seriously hope to see Putin wind up worse than Milosevic! I stand with Ukraine and hope for a speedy resolution that sees Russia sent packing with its tail between its legs! My apologies if that came across as a little heated, as petty dictators doing shit like this just pisses me off! And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I wanted to address the current lack of chapters that should have landed some time ago. I know people were hoping for them to show, but between getting COVID last month, on top of a whole load of additional issues that cropped up, I had to do another pushback. Not the thing that people would want to hear about, I am sure, but I am going to be finding a way to make it up to everyone here. I’m currently working on something that will ensure such pushbacks don’t happen again and if all goes well, I might even catch up!

Next, I wanted to address something that Michael56Smith said concerning my story releases. Yes, it does suck for the free readers that I have a release delay, but as Heath Ledger’s Joker once said, ‘If you’re good at something, never do it for free.’ While I would love to do nothing more than to write a free story for everyone to read, a man has to make a living and sadly, we don’t live in a utopian world.

I also understand that there are possibly fans that might wish to support me, but don’t like Patreon’s current stance on things. For that, there is a solution, which is to go to my other page on Subscribestar.adult. At the time of writing, nearly everything that is posted here is posted there at the same price, and the last chapters and goodies will be there within the next day. So, if you know of anyone who wishes to support my writing and isn’t a fan of Patreon, feel free to direct them to my other website, the link for which I will leave just here.

Finally, I wanted to bring up the bit concerning some of the things I have in the works that I haven’t really spoken about. While I would love to do nothing but talk about all of these things I am working on and seeing about getting done, I find that actions speak louder than words. So, concerning new things that are in the works, but haven’t happened, I will only say that I am working on something. The only time I will elaborate on such things and reveal what they are is when they are confirmed to be finished and the release of them is imminent.

Well, that about wraps it up for this month’s update! I do hope that everyone is staying safe out there, masking up, social distancing, and being sure to stay home from work if you are sick! We’re almost out of this everyone! Cheers!
