Samara sat in the back of the cart with Luura, keeping an eye on the Futa woman and that she was healing properly. It also gave her a bit of time to practice her sketching skills some more, something that she was always up for doing. Luura paid Samara no mind, as her attention was on the surrounding area, looking a bit fearful. Given what the woman had gone through trying to evade those boys, Samara couldn’t blame her. While she hadn’t gotten to where she wanted to be just yet, Samara was proud of this sketch. She felt that she had done Luura’s beauty proper justice, capturing everything that the Meludgen woman exuded. It was a strange thing, Luura looking as gorgeous as she did, with the extra bits that she had. Samara wondered how it was possible, as there should have been some more masculine features in her face, but there was none.Luura was a pure and true beauty, one that was rarely rivaled or surpassed, even back in her time! There were women who did have good looks, but most of those looks were bought and paid for. Even with the skills of the most elite of plastic surgeons couldn’t craft beauty such as this! It was rare to see a woman out in the world who looked this good that had no work done to her!Samara supposed that it was somehow the balancing of the hormones in Luura’s body that made her look like this. However it had happened, Luura would draw eyes wherever she went. Hell, even Samara found herself taken by the Futa a few times, which left her wondering if something else was at play here.“Now that is an amazing drawing!” a feminine voice commented, snapping Samara out of her thoughts.“Wha—who—” Samara yipped, her head whirling around. It was then that she saw the speaker was Solena, who had been looking at the drawing.“It really is, Sambo!” Chelsea told her friend, smiling all the while.“What is?” Luura asked, turning her head, wondering what the hubbub was about.“Go on, Sambo. Show her!” Chelsea told her friend. Sighing in exasperation, Samara tucked her pencil behind her ear and turned the sketchpad around for Luura to see. The Futa woman gasped at the sight and a smile formed on her face almost instantly.“You like it?” Samara asked, wondering if she’d done a good job.“Like it?? I love it!! You’ve captured my likeness perfectly!!” Luura said happily, blushing like mad all the while. “I’m flattered that you would want to draw me like this!”“It’s no biggie! I needed to brush up on my skills and you are the perfect subject to practice on! You are very photogenic you know!” Samara replied with a grin.“Photo-gen-ic?” Luura asked, confused.“It means that you look good, no matter how you turn or where you look,” Chelsea said, clarifying for her.“Oh!! Well… thank you!” Luura said as she blushed even harder.“But, it’s not done yet. I still have to finish with adding a few more details before I start shading the whole thing,” Samara told them.“Wait, this isn’t done yet??” Solena gasped, thinking that Samara was joking.“Nope. Going to take me at least another ten to fifteen minutes before I’m actually done,” Samara told them as she pulled her pencil down from her ear and got back to work on the sketch.“I see the forest just ahead. We’re nearly there,” Zahn called to the girls in the back, letting them know they were close. Just as Luura jumped up to take a peek at the forest which she called home, several arrows screamed in at them, hitting the cart.“Get down!” Markie bellowed as she took cover and cocked her rifle, looking out into the area where the arrows came from. Shadow was spooked by the flying projectiles, and Zahn did everything he could to keep the Thunderer calm.“You there, in the cart!! Let the girl go and the man driving won’t get an arrow through his neck!” an abrasive feminine voice barked out of the brush.“Wait a minute… auntie?!?” Luura called out.
