“Knock on the door, dearest,” Phalmina told her man, smirking as she readied herself for the mayhem that was about to erupt.

Jason grinned and brought his magic to bear, going for pure Gaian power, before unleashing it in a torrent of bolts. The energies sailed through the air before slamming into an unseen barrier, which protected the mansion from magical attack. He continued to fire blast after blast of energy, using what power he could draw to punch through.

The Druid paced himself though, as even though he’d learned much and expanded his magical reserves, he still had limits. Jason timed his attacks alongside those of Sheena, Eva, Amy and the Fairies. Xaera launched a few attacks of her own, but her Troll magic was a unique game changer, so she had to pull her punches. The Nymphs stood close by, ready to respond to anyone who was hurt, but so far, there was no response from inside.

“Is no one at home?” Emalia questioned, thinking that they were hitting an empty house. She then yelped as she deftly dodged a bolt of Dark Magic, as it barely missed her head.

“There’s your answer!” Daelina told her, giving her friend a ‘You had to open your big, fat mouth!’ look.

“Keep pushing! I can sense the shield surrounding the mansion is weakening!” Jason called out. More bolts of Dark Magic lanced out from the property, seeking to drop the Gaians. But Darren was there first, his defensive shield up in a flash, protecting his friends and family.

“Nice catch there, kid!” Sheena stated, shooting the Guardian a grin.

Darren smiled back, but kept his focus on the shield and protecting his friends and family. He fed more magic into the shield, keeping it powered as the rest of them wore down the barrier surrounding the mansion. A few seconds later, they all heard a distinct cracking sound, like breaking glass. An explosion soon followed, buffeting the attackers a little before they regained their footing.

“The barrier is down!” Phalmina crowed as she dodged an incoming bolt of Dark Magic.

“Hey asshole, lay off my future wife!” Jason roared as he leaped forward, his fists wreathed in green magic.

He brought his powerful arms down, smashing the ground as he landed. The earth itself rippled, like a miniature earthquake, throwing most of the coven off their feet. The rest of the Gaians charged in right behind him, blasting the Dark Magi with what magical spells they had in their arsenal.

Like they had with the Sons of Ceasar, the Gaians were casting with the intent to kill. No quarter would come from those who worshipped the Dark, so none would be given. The fairies zipped around above, raining what spells they could to disorient the Dark Magi below. Jason led the charge into the fray, with Sheena backing him up, as it was with Amy and Eva, both pairs working in tandem with each other.

Even though more coven members poured out of the mansion, every successive wave was met with the full brunt of what the group could bring to bear. Nearly every Dark Magi was getting ragdolled, as the raw power of Gaia’s fury was nearly impossible to stop. The only moment there was a pause in the attack was when a certain dark-haired woman entered the fray, her very being exuding dark majesty.

“Well, well, well! Of all the things that would happen, I certainly did not expect this!” Carman said out loud, sounding a little pissed at what was happening.

“Any day we can surprise someone like you is a good day!” Jason growled, working some elemental magic into a powerful attack.

All four elements worked together to craft a blast of pure energy which he quickly unleashed at the Dark Witch. Carman saw the attack coming and responded just as fast, shielding herself from the attack. Then her scowl was wiped from her face, replaced by one of absolute glee!

“Surprises of this nature work both ways, you know!” Carman cackled, sounding like she was more than a little excited. “It’s been a while since I had myself a good fight! Let’s see what you and your friends have, Druid!”

“Bring it, bitch!” Sheena shouted, whipping up a fireball before casting it at the Dark Witch.
