“Yes, ma’am!” Elizabeth gulped as she drank her coffee and squirmed in her seat a little. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Well, we did start working on these paints that are needed to help enact the spell for Luke. Mind helping me with finishing them?” Amy asked.

“Sure!” Elizabeth replied enthusiastically.

“Just be sure to eat your food first before you start adding the components to the paint. Anything that’s not what we need in it will render the paint useless, and we don’t have the time to be making more of it,” Phalmina told her friend.

Elizabeth nodded and munched on her pastries away from the paint, making sure to brush away any stray crumbs on her clothing. Once that was done, is when she stepped over to help with mixing the paint up. Many of the components were odd to be sure, but when it came rot all things magical, there would be some oddities here and there.

Luke just shook his head and laughed to himself as he helped with organizing the spells he would receive. Oddly enough, with what Luke knew about magic, as both fact and fiction were a weird mirror of each other, he knew enough as to what went where. While he didn’t have any innately magical power, the man did need to know what was being done to him with this collection of spells. It took the better part of several hours before the entire mosaic was ready to go.

“OK, so it looks sound to you then?” Jason asked, looking over everything he and the rest of the group there had put together.

“Yeah. It’s looking pretty solid from where I’m standing,” Luke said, as he looked over the idea of what they had done, believing everything was correct.

“Hmm. A few tweaks are needed though, as this does seem OK, but I have a better idea as to how to really amplify the power on this,” Sheena told her friend.

“What were you thinking?” Luke asked, curious about her ideas. As while Luke might not have been a mage of any sort, he knew what he was talking about. Since discovering the books and tomes, he had studied the basics of what spellcraft was like and how it worked.

“Maybe if we do this instead, I think it would power up the magic you’ll receive by nearly double,” Sheena said as she embraced her Gaian magic.

She then did a brief rearranging of the spell mosaic that Luke had come up with, switching a few spells here and there. It wasn’t much, but with the spells shifted in that way, they made for a better level of interconnectivity. Luke blinked a few times and looked it over, scarcely believing what it was he was seeing.

Sheena had effectively done exactly as it was she was saying, easily doubling the amount of magic he could wield and absorb! Possibly even triple that number, given with how much more power this spell was adding to it. The man just put the book down, staring at the new mosaic and then Sheena and back again, shaking his head.

“Girl… you really need to do something with that head of yours! How you reworked this spell makes it so I won’t have to fuss about my power levels with us missing that one tome!” Luke stated.

“This is… inspired!! Have you ever thought about writing your own grimoire, honey? I mean, Gaia knows that you could come up with some fantastic spells!” Aaliyah said in admiration.

“Haven’t really gotten around to it. Might be something to do to occupy my time after we’ve dealt with Carman!” Sheena said bashfully, preening at the praise.

“Maybe you try working on a few things now in your spare time, babe? Facing an enemy of Gaia like Carman is going to require that we dig into areas that no one has even thought of,” Jason told his fiancée seriously.

“Let’s get Luke set up first, then we’ll talk about me doing some spellcraft,” Sheena told her man, smiling at him sweetly.
