I quite literally cannot hold in my excitement for all of these!! I think everyone helped make this shoot as spectacular as we could have. Bri did fantastic with applying the blood to me & my costume and gradually messing me up as the shoot went on for some more dramatic effects.

There's a bunch of abandoned mills around town, and this one is along a hiking trail. We had a bunch of hikers stumble across us, but everyone was nice and a few stopped to watch the process! I honestly find that so refreshing, I remember being a kid and being so embarrassed when friends and I would take photos together in public.

I spent the week prior to this painting all the props and adding extensions to Ambrosia to make it look like the staff was growing roots. I made a new wig for this as well! The best part about this whole shoot was that all of the blood washed out and the costume didn't stain! Hooray for when products operate as advertised.

I really love that the red from the blood and lighting works so well with the greys and greens of the mill and overgrown trees. I think I'll be staring at these photos for forever!
