Dr Girlfriend at Dragoncon (Patreon)

Oohhh my gosh I am so obsessed with how these came out! The photographer is SweetSensationPhoto on IG. She's so lovely and knew the perfect place at Dragoncon for us to shoot.

This dress was more challenging than I was expecting, but that was mostly my own fault! I first tried to alter a pattern of a men's military jacket, but trying to get the form-flattering look screwed me over when it came to making the sleeves. I think I tried 4 different times before giving up. Upon doing some more research, I stumbled across this site, Lekala. They've got thousands of fashion patterns. You input your exact measurements and it gives you a pattern tailor made to your shape! I was able to finish this project in a weekend.

There's a few bits I want to alter if I wear her again, but I'm very proud of this! Excited to make more of her costumes in the future.
