Malenia progress update #1 (Patreon)

Hi gang!! I’ve been talking about how I really wanted to do an Elden Ring build but have been totally paralyzed by the choice. I finally decided that I want to make Malenia in time for Anime Weekend Atlanta in December… and I’m going to enter my first cosplay competition with her! I’ll be posting progress updates as I go along. This weekend was mostly spend getting supplies, but I did make a cape and start building the armor she has under her dress.

The cape wasn’t too hard, just a classic superhero drape + the front shawl piece. However I’ve never attempted a rolled hem before so that was neat to learn! I acutally wound up making two capes this weekend- I didn’t like how the first one hung so I started over from scratch. 😭

Ive also never patterned my own armor like this before so that was really cool to attempt!
