OC Art Photodump (Patreon)

OKAY first things first, some of the images are the end of this dump are NSFW! I am not sure what Patreon's rules are for this, so for now you et the censored version.

Anyway- A friend and I have been talking about making OCs together for some time now. Last week we finally stated messing around with concepts, and guys- I am sooo excited. We wanted to make an adventuring duo who are just absolutely insufferable.

For the technical stuff- I included some first sketches of her while I was figuring out a color pallet, and then some pages of the way that I like to quickly come up with outfit ideas for OCs. The first two images are of course, costume reference sheets! Knowing me (and this character!) she's going to rotate costumes quite a bit. The next three are the first sketch I did of her, which was pulling from more late medieval early renaissance inspo. And then BOOM boob jumpscare.

Character personalities I have been using as a mood board for her: Boa Hancock (attitude with strangers), Yennefer (major influence for her powers), Jinshi (noble upbringings, not much street smarts but great with court), Tharja & Howl (dramatic personality, vain mage). Oh, also Marcille (exploring forbidden magics.)

For the fun stuff- if you feel like reading I'm just going to ramble about our characters and the world state.

We're envisioning a blend of Fire Emblem, D&D and Dungeon Meshi for our world state. Big capital cities, small villages, and lots of dungeons and monsters to hunt. Aveline (my mage!) and Fei (JG's merc who I will draw later) are part of an adventurer's guild. They're usually a duo as they can't seem to keep a third (or even fourth) party member around. Mostly because the two of them are always bickering and pushing each other's buttons, but also they just need to get a room already.

Aveline is a former mage in the King's court who had a very cushy and lavish upbringing and lifestyle. For reasons she has had to abandon all of that and now pays her way through life with monster hunting. She doesn't mind though, her passion with magic is mostly in hunting monsters and doing all kinds of fucked up magic/experiments related to them.

She's super vain, mostly because she knows from court politicking that seduction gets you everywhere. She uses a lot of glamour magic on herself, and has a huge rotating wardrobe. Fei, her partner, is genderfluid so she also uses a lot of transformation magic on them as well. :) Underneath the cold bitchy exterior she is incredibly zany, and a huge goof. She's easily excitable, letting her love for the monsters and new discoveries cloud her judgment and put her in situations that Fei is constantly having to save her from. She loves dark chocolate and a dry red wine, and she would never tell a soul that back in her apartment is a human sized teddy bear that she loves dearly.

Anyway, I love that she is really goofy and incredibly sexy, so I really want to use her to make a bunch of pin up art! I hope to share all of my sketches with you all. Maybe if y'all like her enough I can do some monthly rewards of her.
