She's finally done! I've spent a few months working on my Elbaf Nami cosplay, and I'm super duper proud of her! I'll be debuting this at Momocon next weekend, and will be getting some nice pictures to share with you all! Here's a breakdown of what went into this:

The top is the only part I didn't 100% make myself (besides the boots I guess!), I bought a leather top for like, raves, and cut it up to harvest the leather it came with! I added the scallops and the trim at the bottom, which is the same patter for the belt. I wanted something that screamed viking and made the two pieces feel cohesive. The back of the top I built to be able to adjust in length if I decide I want to wear it tighter or looser in the future. I also added some silk lining on the inside for comfort.

I posted a breakdown of my process with the skirt earlier, but you can see that I did wo layers of leather for a better look + added privacy.

The boots I hot glued a fur trim along. I realized that I needed to keep the zipper working, and seeing the stripe up the side of the boot ruined the flow. So I hand stitched on an extra flap that hooks around the boot for a seamless look!

The jewelry pieces I also posted a previous breakdown before. They're made out of worbla. I had been considering re-making them last minute, but I think that's my own nerves getting to me.

The cape I made from two pieces of faux yak fur and then hand stitched together (honestly most of this costume is hand stitching...) I dyed both sides for a cool gradient effect. The sword on her back I bought online and painted, and then made the sheath out of the cardboard box!

The perfectionist in me is trying to not go crazy over all the little details, but I'm really proud of how this came out! Thank you for reading, I can't wait to show you how it fits on!
