Hey y'all! I've been so busy this month working on some costumes for photoshoots. I have some things planned in July that I'm really excited to share! I'm doing another two underwater shoots, and I wanted to build Shirahoshi for that! The Nami photos I got last year were just beautiful, I'm hoping these will be the same. Another photographer and I are doing a boudoir-like set, with Reiju! I'm hoping that my friend can participate as well as Pudding and we can get some really cool and moody photos together. We found a venue in Atlanta that looks just like Pudding's room! Please excuse how messy our basement is- I will be moving soon and I can't wait to have a cosplay space with natural light where I can take really nice photos!

Reiju isn't that complicated of a build, thankfully I could use the pattern I had from Doctor Girlfriend, and then adjust it to my needs. I haven't had to sew ruffles in YEARS, so that was a new skill I had to learn! It came in handy for the both of the costumes. What was also great was that I could use leftover fabric from Reiju to build on to Shirahoshi. I was able to build most of Reiju out of leftover fabric scraps I had- hoarding DOES come in handy! It still needs some work, and I need to make her tights with the 66 printed on them, but I'm really happy with how this is coming along.

Shirahoshi has been a lot of hand sewing. I still want to add more beading to the top, but its looking really beautiful so far. I bought a bunch of "liquid" fabric for her cloth pieces, which just means its super duper lightweight and shiny. The mermaid tail is going to be the most challenging part of this build (aside from the wig). I want to make it so that I can have it look tight like a real mermaid tail, but also so that I could wear it as a skirt to cons. I'm trying to devise some kind of drawstring along the bottom. We'll see!

I don't have photos, but I am also working on some fighting game cosplays! I will be helping a friend work her booth at EVO this year, and she wants us all to dress up. I'm trying to do a genderbend of Sin from GG, and then also B Jenet from Fatal Fury! I'm hoping I can get lots of cute photos to share with you all.

I'm still chipping away at the June patreon print, hoping to have that done by this weekend. :) If you will be at Anime Expo next weekend please some say hi at artist alley booth K46! If you mention you're from patreon I'll try to give you some freebie stickers. :)

Thanks!
