It's been a minute since build 0.4 dropped, so I'm curious about your thoughts on the story so far! Along those lines, who's everyone's favorite character so far? I know not everyone's routes are out..but when they are, I'll be doing a proper poll! Anyway, happy asking!-Virgil

Gabe and Simone are SS tier for me right now! Mark and Talia are great too!

Simone is best girl. I swear she is just so great to Grey despite everything. And she really cares for him too. I'm loving the direction and hope to see more of Gabe and of course learn more about Mark. All this new info on him has me on the edge of my seat! Great work so far.

I think it's fantastic. Gabe is definitely my favorite in terms of routes that make me interested in a charcter. His emotions are written brilliantly and the mention of his appearance and the AIDS epidemic being the source of his insecurity is exceptional writing.

I love the horror aspect of the whole entire game where Virgil is just tormenting Grey and how that is going into his life with either Game or Mark

Of course I love Mark unconditionally. Here are my questions: 1. Who is YOUR favorite character :) ? 2. What has been the most difficult process in your VN development? 3. Generally speaking, how do you like to be referred to as?(Captain/Nikko/Virgil etc.) 4. If you wanted to have a character in any other VN, who would it be and which VN would it be?

I absolutely love it thus far. Little things like the animated train loop, moving sprites and nontraditional choices like with Mr. Weekend's donation thing all work very well and help to give Burrows a quality feel that makes it stand out from a lot of other VNs I've tried. Same for the extras menu with the audio clips and journal entries, that's very cool and much appreciated. I really like Gabe's down to earth feel but I think my favorites are probably Mark and Virgil thus far. I -love- the intense supernatural horror thing you've got going on and I hope it continues. And the writing is really what holds it together; I'm a huge horror nut but the layers of mystery surrounding everything is what really makes it work. Keeping that tension cranked really makes me wish I could power through the whole thing in one go!

100% Mark. Something about him is both cozy and unsettling in an intriguing way, makes me want to go all in and support him through his struggles. Really, I like all of the characters so far though.

I like it for the most part though there are a few aspects of your worldbuilding that confuse me slight: - For example you draw a lot of parallels to real life racial inequalities, with dark skinned anthro people being more discriminated than light furred ones. This is fine if somewhat odd. But then you add actual ethnicities and nations into the mix - Why are opossums Irish?

Loving the story so far. My favorite character is definitely Simone after this last update. Love how down to earth yet entertaining she is and her dynamic with Grey is just so natural. Gabe is also a complete sweetheart and deserves all the love <3. I really love the new Fragments folder especially. Those little tidbits really enhance the mystery vibe and keep me wanting more. It's a really clever way to sprinkle a little lore that wouldn't fit as well straight in the text.
