From one of my first shoots I did in England last summer. We did a ballerina set, and I added the meadow in the background, because the wood paneled wall in the background didn't really feel right to me. I liked the original black lace top and white big skirt, but I wanted to clean up the look a bit, and the program was giving me trouble, so I tried adding a preset dress overlay they offered, and the yellow caught my eye, since it matches the inside of the orchids I had in my hands. I made the yellow back into the original lace, and then got to playing around with the lighting. I definitely wanted it to look like outdoor midnight (because that's got a spooky vibe, lol) instead of indoor studio lighting. The spotlight was original, but I wanted to be outside. It's kind of bacchanalian, and I was hoping for something like that.

The beam of light is great. It could be moonlight, a spiritual light from heaven, or a UFO.
