Wow, back to punny titles! Anyway lol. Did this one with Thomas Woron like 2, 3 summers ago (the time just blends together....)

The dress and background were originally blue, which I liked, but the background being solid was a much better choice than the wavy, wrinkly fabric, so I can live with it, and it really does set off the lighting and my hair and face well, being so dark. Sometimes your original idea didn't work out the way you thought it would and you've got to pivot to make something of the shot (why I sat on these string-dress shots for years). But hey, I've been on a spotlight-lighting kick ever since I discovered that filter last week lol, so naturally I was going to try it here. I mean, it's not too far off from what I've always been interested in, super intense contrast and chiaroscuro.

If high contrast, chiaroscuro photography is your thing, I highly recommend checking out the original Outer Limits series from the '60s. Every episode is shot in extremely Expressionist, noir-influenced black and white, and they're beautiful to look at.
