Breaking my heart here

Kisumi

Oh God no, please not fuss, please

Farvardin

Panel 8, 9 and 10. I'm sobbing. Kique why

JackalHackal

Sad to lose such a solid and strong character.

Trip3of3

RANACH YOU NEED TO DIE LIKE RIGHT NOW

KatrineSL95

Nooo Kique :c when will the bloodshed be over? I'm so upset, Fúss and his family doesn't deserve this! (you're an amazing storywriter, not many stories has provoked these feelings of unfairness in me. I feel like I have to add this cause I love the story even though it hurts to see 💔).

Vizeryn

lmao EXCUSE ME WHAT THE FUCK... okay but in all seriousness.. i knew this was gonna happen. i had such a horrible feeling. like... just... no dog really recovers from such serious injuries and such mass blood loss... by the time Fuss probably got back to the MT, he was probably no longer even white... he barely even had white fur at the time they RAN UP to him, let alone the walk back... poor akleja... now she's going to grow up without really knowing her father at all... memories don't stick when you just barely started talking, you know? the only thing she'll ever really have to go off from her father are the stories that the tribe tells her... at least she'll grow up knowing her father died in reason for both her and the tribes safety. <3 at least we know, although his death was unnecessary (much like the others that have happened here), he didn't die in vain, or for no reason... he died protecting those he loved - he lived with a purpose, that purpose being to love and cherish his mate, daughter, and family... all the best he could, for as long as he could... not only that, but poor vandi... it must be so incredibly hard for her right now... she only just now gained her rights as a female... she just had her daughter with the one she loved... and now he's going to be gone. it seems like our poor girl can't catch a break. 3 May Fuss rest in piece and rejoin the ones he lost in the afterlife in both harmony and peace. ❤

Yami

Can somone please remove that spear from my heart? I knew he'd die sooner or later, mentioned many pages ago how many criteria our dear Fúss meets in the "how to make a characters death even sadder list". Yet I wasn't ready for it. Not like that. Never like that. Not so soon. Not with little Akleja's possible first word being one of the last things he'll ever hear. You did it again, Kique. I'm legit crying here ;-;

Icecat45

Oh God... I had a feeling this would happen, even though I wanted to remain hopeful after Roamer saw that Fuss was still breathing, and he and Vigr wrapped the bandages around his neck... I wanted to see him live... The small mercy is that he gets to spend his last moments surrounded by his family, and that he'll be honored with a funeral pyre instead of being left to become a night beast. But I'm seriously grieving his loss, and I know Vandi and Akleja will be hit hardest by this, and the rest of the MT will grieve, too. And after this... I want Ranach to die even more than I did before. I think this will lead to Rogio agreeing to lure Ranach in, as well as Avanti's defeat. But however it happens, I don't want Ranach to simply be killed quickly. That's too good for him. I want all the pain he's ever inflicted on others to come back to haunt him before he dies, because I really do not think Ranach can be redeemed at this point. Of course, I may be wrong, and Ranach might survive the coming pages. But I want Ranach to pay dearly for every bad thing he's done...

I also wonder how the tribe will be after Fuss is gone. He was Ronjas most powerful supporter and the one the rest of the tribe looked to. Luckily, Ronja seems to have won over the rest of the tribe but I have a feeling she will be to blame for the failure of her plan by those she has not won over yet completely. I have a feeling a bad winter is ahead.

Hericiium

Please, not adorable Fúss. <3

Farvardin

I want him to be left out for the night beasts so he becomes one, just like he wanted to do to Rogio.

LC

Just a random (and maybe far-fetched) thought I had: what if Akleja will be the one to end Ranach? (Once she's old enough ofc) Would be pretty ironic, since he's to blame for her father's death. Also because she is the first free born female of the tribe.

Spiritstrike

I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying!

Morgran

Oh gosh don't make me cry before my induction.

Farvardin

Okay, now that I can actually think xD Wow Kique. It has been a very long time since a story has made me feel so strongly one way or another, and made me cry so badly. I'm usually one of those people that tells someone "don't stoop to their level, you're just as bad as them", but. *Someone* needs to stoop to Ranach's level. I know most of the tribe won't, and would probably argue against it. But Javo, Vigr. Hell, I would even be happy to have Kargo come back and leave him outside of the walls unable to move as a night beast is coming his way! I also wonder if this will be the thing that pushes Rogio's trauma to the side for the time being. It is never easy, but maybe Jonna and Fuss is what he needed. If not, that's okay too. Another thing I was thinking about, I can easily think about Roamer's recklessness, and could see him making sure he's covered in Rogio's scent before going out and confronting Ranach on his own. Almost like him taking Ferah's coat, but this time with the intent of fighting. I know that's probably not how things will happen, because Roamer has learned since then, but.

Rubje

Your leaving to soon Fuss.....

WolfieYote

Naww Akleja doesnt really understand completely that her daddy will pass qnq .... Oml Kique you're mean >;v qnq Poor Vandi.. she loved Fuss qnq

Yami

To be honest, at this point I can see Rogio snap and go after Ranach himself to put it all to an end.

Octarines

Kique you're killing me I'm tearing up

Aww, sad to see Fuss go but I'm guessing that head injury and damage to his neck even was too much for him to take. Also, I wonder if Ronja will finally seek out help from the capital or they just leave MT because it's become too dangerous of a place especially when numbers are getting lower.

Skittles

Okay, I'm ready for that miracle at that magically happens ;~; This is truly such a heartbreaking scene... Many of us have probably grown attached to Fuss and his family but to have him survive and know now that he won't make it later makes it even more tragic. I was hoping that the fire would only be for Jonna but it seems that they'll both be honored at their death and honestly, it's a bitter sweet gesture. Fuss worked hard to work alongside of Ronja and work to get the tribe to a better place with the likes of Vandi in mind, being of the rare gems in the MT from early on. Burning his body to be remembered will be a fitting end. I just hope that this will prevent him from becoming a ghoul as that truly would be heartbreaking. You can see the surprise yet painful expression on Rogio's face as I bet Fuss might have been one of the few he got along with and probably knew a while back. But damnit, just as things got better for Vandi, she now is about to lose her mate. It must have been such a relief for her to find someone that actually appreciated and loved her and to now know that her pup would be free of the tainted times. This was her break and hope but now that's being taken away. The pain in her eyes is too much... Not to mention that Akleja doesn't really know what's going on. Vandi may have raised pups on her own in the past but this was the only time she really had the support and love of her pup's father. I can already feel the tears in my eyes as I hoped things would really be turning around for the MT but it seems that their hardships aren't over. But there's no doubt in my mind that Fuss would have put himself first regardless the outcome of other situations as now with his family, he would have done what he could to make it a bright future for them. He really was a shinning white knight P.S: Akleja really looks like a mini Kargo and looks like she'll inherit her father's looks too Cx

Mikayla Clunk

I wonder if Ronja will decide to ask for aid from the capital or another tribe after this. That or maybe Rogio will decide to go after Ranach himself. As currently those seem like their only options outside of completely leaving that territory.

Anonymous

Akleja looks like she could be Kargo's.

Corvin

HE NEED SOME MELK!!

Peentz

Random thought but someone mentioned stooping to Ranach's level and I can't help but wonder how it would pan out if someone desperate enough sought out the spirit Aira went to. So many questions arise from it and it's fun to think about. Aira still had sentient thought as a beast but simply couldn't speak correct? What if hypothetically someone sought the spirit out with a goal in mind (killing Ranach for example)? Hmmmm...

Skittles

Even on his death bed, I can't help but think that he's apologizing over and over again by the mere look in his eyes. He knows the pain that Vandi will have to endure as well as how it might affect Akleja in the future T^T

Galaxydew

Well that just ruined the rest of my day... D:

Tora Collita

The tears... the feelings... To see Vandi and Akleja react that way... Little Petal that doens't understand, and her mother that's going to loose the male she found as her light during the old MT ways and could finally be mate with thanks to Ronja... I knew Fúss would meet his end, but he died fighting and protecting others. And will go on with the ones he loves around him... <3

Heather

I’m fucking crying aaaahhhh

Skittles

Not sure if it was planned or not but I'm glad that Vandi doesn't have to see the extent of his injuries (or at least for now) and it's also hidden from Akelja's sight as that would probably make things harder for the family..

Fable

Okay, fess up, WHO'S cutting the onions again?

Aerophoinix

I cannot wait to see Ranach pay for all of this! the toll for summoning Avanti better be some horrible, eternal punishment :c

Plot twist: Kargo is the father. DUN DUN DUNNNN Jk, I know that's impossible. She's a mini, chubby and adorable version of Kargo. Makes me think that she and Kargo both possibly take after Fysa?

Kiera-Ann Kelly

I’m literally crying on break at work rn
