I was thinking the same thing. If not I smell trouble for her because anyone could say "It was me who howled". And depending on how full of distrust they are towards her they might not give her a chance to prove it. For all they know she could give away their location to more wolves if she howls ._.

I'm still a bit confused that everyone knows about the wolves when there was just one single thief or whatever. The other Akis never left their island beside Roghir and we already saw that he had clothes to hide who he was. How do they all even know what a wolf is? Like, did they all saw the single wolf back in the days? I'm curious what the reason might be.

Wolf in this world is used to describe anything canine that isn't like them, it's a derogatory term. Besides from that, they may be aware of 2 Aki wolves, the lone wolf that caused most of the northern tribes to move down south a few years ago, or Jahla as the "Red Wolf", where rumours about her killing tribe members might have spread among the tribes and their allies.
