It's important for you to note how Nerobasta as a Divine Lance Corporal did 0 damage to someone like Derieri, vs Elizabeth blowing her arm off.

The revived goddess saying to the demon "I'm sorry we broke our treaty and massacred the women and children, we were just following orders" was probably the biggest lore drop in this season imo -- it adds a lot of context and questions, lol. Hope you'll react to season 3, the animation gets pretty rough at points but the story and lore is even better than this season. Also just so it's clear, there are the five major races humans, giants, fairies, demons, and goddesses. The druids are just a group, of mostly only humans I believe, who study and worship goddesses. They have some useful tricks against demons because of those studies on and favor from goddesses, but they're still just humans with specialized magic similar to the holy knights. As far as demons are concerned, druids are like bees -- they can sting you a bit, but they're still just bugs.
