YoRHa, compared to the armies of the Mega-Corporation's definitely were losing in the numbers game. Especially when you factor the mercs, nomads and other people the Mega-Corps regularly hired to deal with their dirty business.

Dirty business that they didn't want to become public and affect their stock prices.

But... When a Corpo War came about? All that care about Stock Prices due to crimes went out the fucking window.

Even with their willingness to have no limits and morals however. That didn't change the fact that most YoRHa's androids were far stronger, better equipped, and more dangerous to compared to even more heavily augmented mega-corp soldiers.

A Sandy that allows a guy to move at extreme speed and have extreme reflexes? That's cool bro. My androids all had high-speed cameras for eye's that could see you just fine. And will happily shoot you with a rail gun at your so-called super speed.

But this wasn't just androids on mercs. Already, just getting near Night City, our stretched-out line of Wraith floating tanks were getting hammered by waves of the undead.

Thankfully, I made our tanks not with that dumbass mortar canon the Covenant preferred to have slapped onto it. And instead, it had a high-powered plasma ray along with several lasers and plasma casters mounted on it.

And in removing the giant plasma mortar cannon, which allowed for more room on the inside. Allowing two more occupants who would be in charge of controlling the other gun systems.

"Normal zombies... Except for the fact that some of them have scary implants that somehow still fucking work." I muttered as I looked at the burn mark on another wraith that came from zombie gonk, who had a Projectile Launch system in its arm that detonated when it reached the tank.

A loud rumble rang out as the larger and very heavily armored wraith with hard light energy shields I was in. Flew over and crushed a car with its projected gravity field that allowed the multi-ton weapon of war to move so easily.

"We are almost at Hab Tower Seven. Jake, I highly don't recommend you leaving the tank." 2B said with a dark frown.

And to be frank... I wasn't going to leave the fucking tank either.

Because Night City was a massive city. And it had a corresponding massive population. And when Umbrella decided to shit the bed. They did so violently and deliberately spread their bioweapons in drone-dropped gas bombs that would disperse the virus through the air as the bombs were dropped slowly through the air.

And being dropped from on high meant the viruses had time to carry through the wind... To get into the ventilation systems, and all too soon, it was reported that they also somehow spiked the city's water supply.

Though that wasn't too much of an issue, as the viruses were still easily dealt with via boiling any water to be consumed or used.

Still, a lot of people didn't know that. And out of the close to a dozen million doomed souls that lived in Night City. At least half of them were infected by the water-based attack and the air-based attack before the virus carried through the air died out.

Still... That meant MORE than five million poor bastards were turned into zombies at this point already.

"I am not leaving the tank until we block off the hab tower and get to work cleaning it out." I said helplessly before I added with a sigh.

"And the segregated cage trailers for keeping any survivors we find? Are they on their way yet?" I asked through the YoRHa servers.

As the Hab Tower had powerful air scrubbers due to the fucking vast number of people living there. The people there didn't get turned due to the air attack but via water, and zombies themselves just poured into the Hab Tower's massive front entry point.

Commander White's cool voice reached my mind as she said. "Yes, they are also on their way."

So... Just in case there were a good number of survivors here at the Hab Tower we could exfiltrate them safely. And by safely, I meant literally shoving each person into their own tiny cell cage so that if they were infected somehow, they couldn't just slaughter everyone else in their trailer.

Or just generally cause any issues either way.

"Good... We need air support as well, but besides the hyper jets I made. We don't have dedicated air units." I muttered in realization of this issue.

But to be fair, helicopters and assault planes that could deal death and suppression from above weren't a thing anymore in this universe.

Because... It only took one asshole with five duct-taped together laser rifles from Vault Tech to shoot out the engines and such from a plane without issue.

"The tanks are doing fine. Simple zombies without special adaptations won't be able to get past the tank's energy shields." A scout unit tried to assure me as well.

'I am not worried about the basic zombies.' I thought, as I had seen the true bioweapons Umbrella had made and even the rogue random ass lickers that would sometimes leak out into the city.

Hab Tower Seven. The one that David and Gloria lived in was an angry hive of swaying undead. As on average, there were easily tens of thousands of people in the open bottom levels of the mega tower.

And when our fifty tanks rolled up. We just shot several missiles near the entry point to pull the undead horde out and into our firing lane.

The high-power plasma ray, instead of lobbing a bolt of exploding plasma, shot a beam of plasma energy that could easily slice through dozens of zombies without issue.

The raised ground leading up to the hab tower turned molten hot red with gouging scars from the laser and plasma bolts hitting it continuously as we began the seemingly endless job of clearing the undead.

Then, through the systems, I heard another scout unit reporting quickly. "Command, a squad of what looks like Nemesis-class bioweapons is moving down the street at eight o'clock to pincer us!"

The energy shields on several of our tanks flickered as it seemed that the Nemesis monsters were armed one and all with exploding smart ammo that came out from oversized boxy rifles.

'Dumbass monsters. These tanks aren't mercs and edge runners to hunt down to make more bioweapons.' I thought with annoyance as I knew all to well that Umbrella was controlling these monsters remotely.

And they were clearly aiming to fuck up evacuation and clean-up efforts. As they did just the same in Racoon City in the games.

"Cut them down. Then get some Executioner and scout models onto the Hab Tower to watch the other roofes for Umbrella special forces!" I ordered as one of the tanks own plasma caster whirled around at my order and it's endless seemingly lancer of destruction cut through three of them at once in a sweeping motion.

Another Nemesis tried lifting up a car to block the plasma cutting laser of destruction but it too was cut in half as well.

Clearly, Umbrella didn't account for the bullshit fact of my tanks having their 'weak' points and joints covered in an energy field.

"The shots fired towards us were clearly aimed at the anti-gravity emitters as well as our guns. They were aiming to cripple our tank clearly." Popola spoke as she was synced into the command tank I was in.

A quick mental glance at the energy field emitters confirmed that, and I wondered what Umbrella's game was in trying to disable my tanks.

I honestly just expected them to shoot us with a mini-nuke... But then again, that was Vault Tech's habit.

Still, I refocused as I called up Gloria again. As several android models quickly jumped out of the tanks to finish off the elite bioweapons and then climb up the hab tower with the use of some anti-gravity jet packs.

"Jake, is that you?" Gloria's voice rang out as she quickly added. "We are in your apartment, and while it's been safe with how you armored the door. There is a big monster outside of your apartment!"

Then it kinda hit me as I remembered David sometimes wearing his mom's jacket at times.

'Did Umbrella have a stake in that skeevy ass company Gloria worked for? I remember that mega-corps wanted David for his bio-data with his surprising tolerance for implants over a short period of time.' I mused thoughtfully.

But still I spoke quickly. "Got it! The turrets and such should keep you guys safe for now. I am clearing out the zombies at the ground level but it's going to take time. Just... Literally hid inside the cupboards or something in case it breaks in. Also, disable your connectivity and put your jacket in another room in case it's tracking you two!"

Gloria was silent for a moment before she made a noise of agreement, and even then. I could hear a heavy thudding, banging noise through the call as whatever out there. Was trying to get in.

But we still needed to clear the fucking massive horde of zombies. And make sure we weren't carpet bombed with missiles or whatever if more elite bioweapons came under the control of Umbrella.

"I will be there soon." I said before I hung up the phone, and I exhaled as I wanted to use my Mass Effect fields to help crush some zombies.

But I really didn't want such secrets to get out, as I had zero doubts that we weren't being watched heavily right now.

As Rebecca herself was patched in with Lucy's help to the local cameras to watch our slog fest, with Rebecca offering to bounce on my dick if I took her on a ride in a tank and got to blow some shit up.

Gloria's milf booty might be fighting Becca for first round on his dick after this.

Man, it's been a while since we had a chapter of this. Loved it, thanks for the update.

Loves2Spooge

All we're missing for evil corps right now is Armacham and its Replika army and phase soldiers, but thankfully Alma Wade isn't in this world. Zombies and cyberninjas is one thing but Alma causing the world/city to go mad and bringing her nightmares into reality is another.

Wratus

Well since Jake has access to covenant tech he should make so many drones that he can just clear out the city in one go. Give the drones Elite Plasma guns and see how fast the zombies get cleared out.

Douglas Karr

Well I mean if she's offering, you'd be going around blowing shit up regardless
