Milkers in the Dungeon Chapter 19 (Patreon)

In creating a killing field via magic, twisted constructs of copper, as well as using an oversized wedge to smash monsters into meat paste. The bottom of the staircase was a charnel house of gore and mangled bodies.

"We need to get as many of these monster stones as we can before more adventurers come to dispute them with us." I said firmly.

As speed was key with how us fighting other adventurers was going to heavily put us at a disadvantage for a variety of reasons.

Reason 1, most importantly, being that other adventurers were far more dangerous then monsters. And secondly, in the importance line, was that I was all out of Soma energy at this point.

Before I was willing to get into a big fight... I needed to down some titty milk and get some more Soma energy!

We quickly cleared up the minotaurs with even Xianyun and Ganyu putting on a glove to shove their hands into the stomach and up into the monster's chest to grab its thicker than a middle finger monster stones.

Even as we did so, I couldn't help but mutter. "No wonder minotaurs are worth so much more then the earlier monster stones."

Because it was at the point of minotaurs that monster stones not only stopped just growing bigger, but the magical energy inside of them became much denser.

This made the monster stones more valuable when used in the magitech and such that was spread around the world of Danmachi.

We didn't even make it to the bottom of the stairs before a loud female voice rang out. "Oii! The main herd got stopped!"

I looked up to see from around the corner of the main tunnel leading deeper into the dungeon was Tiona Hiryute of the Loki familia.

And it was definitely TionA of the negative A-cup as the excited Amazon was as flat as a board even while wearing just a band around her chest.

A curse came out from behind Tiona and I inwardly groaned as a silver-haired werewolf in Bete Loga charged in behind her though he slowed at seeing the fucking mess of shattered bodies that were everywhere.

And more importantly, the gore-splattered giant copper block that was in the middle of the dungeon staircase entryway.

"Uhhh Bete, I don't suppose our carriages can get past that thing can it? And is that like several tons of copper in the dungeon!?" Tiona shrieked in suprise at the end.

My face twitched as Bete growled and swiped at Tiona who dodged the irritated werewolves' swats at her head as he snapped. "Yes, you damned fool it obviously is!"

Then his eyes snapped to me with a scowl as he said flatly. "I won't demand how the hell you got a fucking massive block of metal in the dungeon... Or what the hell you are doing with it. But move it the fuck out of the way so the Loki Familia's expedition can get past when we arrive in like an hour."

I then sheepishly said helplessly. "I literally don't have the mana to control it anyway after using it to slide down the stairs to kill all those minotaurs... Did the Loki familia's expedition force all the minotaurs up to the higher floors I suppose?"

Bete's face darkened as it was all too true to anyone that the Loki familia got the dungeon all worked up, and the divines in Tenkai only know HOW many died before the leaders of the familia dealt with the mess.

And it's not like we were the only ones who saw the minotaurs or were affected by it. So it's not like they could or would silence us either.

Bete at hearing my words tsked in annoyance before saying with a clear scowl. "Then get the hell out of here, weaklings. It is going to take the dungeon hours to get rid of that copper block. If I have to move the damned thing, then we get the left over monster stones!"

My face pinched at that before Tiona herself added helplessly. "The block of metal is taller then I am Bete. We aren't moving it till Gareth gets here, honestly." 

Ok... Needing three high-tier adventurers to move a several-ton block of metal out of the way for their expedition was indeed an annoyance. So I looked to my party and shook my head before returning back towards the staircase.

Then after we got up the stairs Xianyun giggled and I looked over before blinking as she said with a grin while displaying a hand that had a couple dozen minotaur horns in her hands.

"Ufufu, this One kept busy from behind the view of the block of metal from their gaze. This will earn us a tidy sum I am sure!"

I made a noise of agreement, though I said thoughtfully. "It is worth a good bit of money. On the other hand, you could use just half of those horns to make a bunch of arrows that can do a lot of damage, and you woudn't need to worry about their durability as much."

Xianyun nodded while throwing a Ganyu a thoughtful look as she said. "That is true indeed Jake. This One as well as her disciple Ganyu could use upgraded arrows if we are to be dealing with middle floor monsters regularly." 

Though I highly doubted we would 'graced' with regular hordes of minotaurs. And, frankly, I didn't want such hordes as well! Minotaurs were often the targets for level one adventurers to get the Excellia needed to level up after all.

I didn't want regular hordes of elite enemies dropping in on me, obviously.

"Lets get our monster stones and such turned in. The dungeon and the adventurers within are likely unsettled." Shenhe added in a soft but firm tone.

So that's what we did. We quickly made our way back up to the surface, the Guild was a fucking total madhouse already as news of the Loki Familia's mess had somehow already reached the surface.

And while making our way home. Ganyu all but held my arm with how she kept so close that we were brushing together every few steps. While keeping a light but steady blush as she clearly was mentally encouraging herself the whole way home.

"Alright! I am going to take a long shower. You girls enjoy your bath!" Ganyu said hurriedly as she ran to her room, even as she gave me a light pinch as a reminder without a word for me to get into the men's bath.

"Hmph! This One will have to remind little Ganyu that she needs proper relaxation after an expedition." Xianyun tsked thoughtfully before shaking her head and the other two ladies followed her while I went to the baths alone.

But not for long.
