Great Great Asset Chapter 32 (Patreon)

After a wonderful and sumptuous dinner, I was just bing chilling in the office turned bedroom, I now shared with Tsukiumi, Musubi, and lastly but certainly not least in Akitsu.

Before, it was still just Akitsu and Musubi's shared room. But... With Tsukiumi winging themselves on me it was still comfortable as the four of us were squeezed onto a large couch, as the three Sekirei snuggled up with me.

'Hmm... I need to watch out for Matsu. She is primed and ready to go after me at any moment she can get me alone. The same thing for the lightning twins as well.' I mused to myself.

Kazehana was also clearly reacting to an extent. But she was also an alcoholic who was given access to a storage crate filled with strong booze... She probably drowned out her reaction to me with booze.

"Does Tabane have an established base?" I asked quietly as we dozed in relaxation, as we truly were still tired from our adventure.

Tsukiumi gave a light hum before she answered easily. "The mad rabbit and her group don't. But they are very easily tracked as she and her group converted a walking city called a Shelled Regios into something they could carry using capsule technology."  

'Capsule technology... Well, if Feixiao, an Emanator who can punch through planets, can fit in this universe by suppressing her power. It's not surprising that Bulma was also tossed into her if she just restricted her inventions to an extent.' I thought.

Still, after a moment of thought, it made sense. As many realms weren't giant wastelands and such. Some were giant wastelands or destroyed cities. While others were forests and others were literally just a mall or hospital.

Or hell that weird realm that was just a giant subdivision with all those Michael Myers were a good example for how weird this twisted universe was.

I gave a mumble of thought before I asked. "How long would it take us to find her? And would our entire group move to go find her?" 

The group of Sekirei was quiet for a moment before Akitsu said in her calm and cool voice. "No, we have too many supplies, and this realm, after being cleared, is mostly safe with dense dimensional walls to separate the other realms. Also... Feixiao and Lust will be going along with Karasuba."

My lips twitched as Musubi said cheerfully. "If Tabane tries anything, then Karasuba will just cut them all down!"

I exhaled as whelp it was fair enough. Then I asked curiously. "Do you ladies remember the names of the other people in Tabane's group?"

And Tsukiumi answered again as she said blandly. "Tabane has a giant roving city for a reason, Jake. She brought together a very large group and armed them with her personal mechs so even people without powers have great combat ability and defenses. Literally ten thousand plus people at the very least."

My face twitched as I realized that Tabane basically had a roaming civilization that point. Hell it made me wonder if going over there to trade was really worth the time with how many people she had on hand to also be collecting resources.

And as though sensing my thought, Tsukiumi being the most... Intelligent and emotionally mature at seeing my expression from my side she was leaning on as we laid on the bed added.

"Although she has a good couple of hundred IS warriors. She doesn't pick up innately powerful people. As she has had... A very strong lesson in this universe when an evil group attacked her, and spies within did a lot of damage, even taking her eyes using poison they controlled."

'Oh.... So Tabane got her eye's fucking melted with some acid/poison nonsense so now she is probably even more fuck nuts insane.' I thought helplessly.

Still with a sigh, I gave Tsukiumi's fat ass a loving pat as I said more quietly. "Alright girls. Time to get to sleep. I bet Matsu is going to ambush me tomorrow to say nothing of the lightning twins."

And besides getting another waifu or three into my harem tomorrow. I needed to head straight to the library to see if I could 'eat' some skill books to get stronger.

The four of us then moved from the too-small couch to Akitsu's bed where I myself became Musubi's mattress while she lay atop me, mostly while Akitsu and Tsukiumi lay on my sides.

And after a beautiful sleep, in which I could feel the three Sekirei in my mind as they slept. We woke up in a very pleasant mood and I quickly got dressed for the day with the girls besides Akitsu going to help do other chores while I got started on today's breakfast for the group.

Seeing as I was being fast for breakfast, I just made four dozen eggs, likewise four dozen pancakes on the flat top, and quickly chopped up a bunch of fruit before putting said fruit in a bowl that rested atop a bigger bowl filled with ice to keep the fruit fresh and cool.

"Alright! Let's see if I can get some more powers or at least some skills!" I said excitedly as I held Akitsu's hand as we went to the library.

We quickly headed for the library and as we entered the library, I paused as sitting on a large leather chair was Lust herself. Lust as in the homunculus from Full Metal Alchemist.

Her eye's lazily landed on our forms before she nodded and said idly. "Please try to keep it down. I am trying to read outside of the noises of a dozen fools and booze hounds."

I nodded and gently pulled Akitsu into the library's shelves to see if I could pick up any skill books for magical stuff in the more fictional side of things.

I took some books that looked promising and it took me a good couple of hours of searching to understand how my Gamer power worked actually.

'I need to read the book and isolate the skill I am trying to learn for the book to actually input the skill into the system!' I realized as I boosted the rank of my meditation skill by five levels after reading a book on mental health.

As I was trying to see if I could get a skill on magical control in general to help in my control over mana.

But it seems that it wasn't going to be so easy.
