There was that moment of tension before an archer let go of the string. Or when you bent a branch and just before the dried wood violently snapped back when the stick broke off.

And in that moment. Summer's arm's around Jake became corded muscles worthy of being steel alloy cables that could hold up a giant bridge as an... Utterly ridiculous and dense and rich form of Ki that Summer had never seen before roiled under his skin.

'The simulated emotional trauma is effective... Maybe a bit too effective with how his emotions are boiling like this.' Summer thought helplessly as she also wrapped her legs and thighs around Jake as his ki threatened to throw her backwards with it's utterly obscene density.

"That ki... It's so dense. Even my own, even the Sage Udry's Martial ki isn't as dense as Jake's ki is? How the hell is his ki so dense!?" Summer thought before she took a breath to continue the Awakening Ritual.

"Ruby was taken from Vale... You had to go find her in Mistral, think of finding her in a dungeon Jake. Imagine finding her hurt, and chained down in a dark room."

That ki rose with a violent and bloody intent like a cold ocean's waves battering at Summer's own chest, which made her large breasts bounce with each thundering beat of Jake's heart.

And Summer knew, then and there... That, regardless of Jake having the Silver eyes. Something else was very, very 'wrong' with him. He wasn't even a Master tier martial artist, and clearly.

Something unprecedented was happening with him. And an idle thought crossed Summer. 'Is... Is Jake a demigod of the God of Light? He is a first-generation Silver Eye's user with the strongest purity in the divine light in his eyes. Which is why he didn't awaken it when he went and killed so many people during the skirmishes or when that Lamia bitch messed with him.'

Then Summer continued her treatment. Working up his emotions in a slow manner so it woudn't break him out of the cycle until it finally happened.

Her vision went hazy as an explosion of divine pure light filled the dark room, filled with a hazy smoke of the drugged incense, as a blinding wave of light exploded from Jake's eyes.

And Summer watching from behind with her own Silver Eye's, slightly active so she could watch as Jake's own divine light filled the room, and she paused at a new realization.

"Burning? No... That's simple annihilation. Your pure Silver Eye bears the holy light's purest state, the Annihilation of all darkness. Which includes magic and such." Summer whispered thoughtfully.

As she was oh so well aware, his eyes were so much more potent than her and Ruby's Silver Eye's, which had degraded over the bloodlines millennia into Eyes of Petrification.

And as she expected, Jake's form went limp in her arms after his emotional outburst was over. Clearly, he overused the tiny pool of divine energy that fueled his eyes and tapped into his lifeforce and thus exhausted himself.

With the 'ceremony' over now. She carefully moved an arm that was around Jake to the table and picked up a remote to turn on some fans to disperse the drugged incense out of the room and then she picked up her scroll.

And with a blooping noise, she called her foolish daughter, who picked up the scroll with a tired yawn. "Whhhhaaat mom?" Ruby whined adorably, and Summer knew she had pulled a pillow over her head to block out any light coming from beyond her blackout drapes.

There was a pause before an evil chuckle left Summer as she turned her scroll around and then with a crisp electronic snapping noise. She took a picture of the passed-out form of Jake resting his head against her exposed cleavage as she reclined into a more comfortable position to take the call.

And with another heartless and evil chuckle, she sent the picture to her daughter as she said in a tired voice. "Ruby... Oh, Ruby, I had to help Jake awaken his silver eyes. It took you soooo long. And you're just ignoring my calls. So he got sooo tired he needed a little nap with how he worked just so hard." 

There was a shifting noise of cloth as Ruby grumbled as she moved her pillow and said tiredly. "What... It's only like eight in the morning mom? What is the rush? Does Jake wake up before dawn like you?"

Then the line went quiet as Ruby grabbed her phone again and obviously saw the picture.

"MOM what the hell!?" Ruby cried out with a loud thump ringing out across the line as Ruby fell out of her bed as she jumped up at the sight.

And Summer just sighed dramatically and said. "Jake was thinking about you so much during the ceremony, my little Rose, it made me even a little jealous... Even now, he is whispering your name under his breath as he sleeps. Now, can you come get your little crush, or do I need to sneak a little 'true love's first kiss' to wake him up?" 

Ruby made a choking noise and if the scroll's video camera was on... Summer was sure her little Rose's face would have been as red as the strawberries she loved so much.

But Summer's mischevious smile only widened as Ruby shouted out. "Don't molest my boyfriend mom! He is mine!"

And Summer could hear Ruby's door slamming shut as she obviously didn't even bother to hang up the call as she ran at full speed and probably was using her semblance to make sure she didn't get a 'taste'.

Still. Summer looked down as Jake's silver hair had been changed due to his transformation into having such powerful Silver Eyes, apparently. And she idly wondered how strong the eye's Ruby and Jake's children would have.

Or... In the back of her mind. In a small dark area that was her lonely side after Taiyang left her to go on his ridiculous quest to have a hundred children of his own. How strong would Jake and her own children be?

Because the Rose family needed strong heirs in this world of bloody evolution that constantly took lives.
